Character Applying for: Uriel
What makes you a good choice for such a role?: I am very active and will be able to rp her whenever needed. I can also be detailed if necessary as long as the person I a roleplaying with is detailed as well. Also my other character is just like her in that she speaks honestly no matter what the implications might be.
List three Original ideas brought to life through you and your character:
1) One thing I thought would be cool would be if someone lusted after her. Since it's her job to keep people on the right track she would have to remove herself as a temptation or make sure they are no longer tempted by her.
2) She could start small conflicts (without meaning to of course) by her tendency to speak exactly what is on her mind.
3) Another idea would be if something happened that made her unable to watch over humanity and everyone... People would fall to temptation easier for that period of time. Or, if this works, she herself could diverge a little from moral correctness.
Example Roleplay:
Uriel sat perched on a small cliff overlooking the pond. It was beautiful out here, quiet and peaceful as she was herself. Her reflection danced upon the ripples moving through the water, nothing and nobody else to be seen around. Uriel's purpose in life was to bring people out of the darkness and into the light with visions of their inner self. It was a beautiful thing, and once in a while she simply needed to find once again her own inner self. Finding her peace with nature was her way of doing this. With everything else off her mind it was easier to focus on her own well-being for just a couple moments, not so long to be considered vain. She wouldn't want that.
Uriel was shaken from her thoughts by the sound of light footsteps through the brush. She turned around slowly when they stopped not too far away to find a Fallen Angel standing before her. His eyes were wide, roaming her body briefly before they cut back to the ground beneath his feet, but not before Uriel caught the hint of desire hidden within them. She stood, turning to face him and willing him to look up. "You must learn to better refrain from your impulsive desires. They cannot do much good." She spoke clearly, deciding that it was wiser for now to simply remove the so-called temptation. Uriel walked gracefully back to where she came from, unknowing of whether she would ever come across a situation much like this one.

Azrael is the Angel of Death accordingly to another on of his names, but is infact the Judge of Angel's and the reaper of souls dragging them to Hell to be judged by Samael while Samael Breather of life into a body..and punisher of the After Life sentencing those who go to Hell their punishments...Together they are the angel's of Death.
Michael is the Angel of Destruction...It has varied in so many forms i have given them aspects accordingly.
So please follow what is noted by the information within the group.
➋ As an angel of seduction, I was thinking he could play the catalyst in a few random situations that occur due to befalling temptation. Perhaps he tests a human, they fail, and thus he allows Azrael to drag them to Hell for their sin. Perhaps he even tests a fellow angel out of spite or mere suspicion? Thus, he could create an enemy in another and cause a small-scale war among the ranks.
Azrael judges and tempts the angels of Heaven while Samael tempts the mortals. They can't just kill a human it is against angelic morals and laws. Or other wise they would have killed Hitler and many others.
Samael adn Azrael both are tempters and Azrael pushes the humans to make Samael do his thing.
So scratch the bit about angel's unless he manages to work with Azrael.
➌ Samael is the tempter, who is also the one often accused for Lucifer... What if the tables were turned, and Lucifer did the tempting? What if Samael slowly began to fall under Lucifer's radar as a potential candidate for one of his fallen angels? He could attack Samael's mental instabilities and try to convince him to join him- a battle I've not yet decided as to whether or not he should win...
Love this idea as there is so much going for Lucifer and yet so much against him as well.

What makes you a good choice for such a role?: I cannot say that I'd be a good choice for anything. I always have trouble with this question because I don't know what others think of me, or what it is that they really want from anyone.
However, I believe I can bring an interesting perspective to the table as this Archangel, partly due to a religious background and exposure to a great number of diverse cultures and ideas.
List three Original ideas brought to life through you and your character:

➥ My final idea is....making Ramiel seem like a defenseless being. Most people would have two options when faced with something they believe to be weaker than they are: protect or destroy. I believe that acts of mercy are precious, and so rare nowadays, that they should be viewed in a light that could make them seem almost entirely unable t survive on their own. That being said, Ramiel isn't gonna be some little kid. I don't think it'd totally fit with my previous idea.
Example Roleplay:
Humans were odd creatures. There were those who strove for the most pleasurable things, yet nearly obliterated all those who came remotely close to being an obstacle. Then there were those who wanted nothing more than to be content with themselves. An instance like the first was currently playing out before Ramiel, which she observed in her usual steady silence.
The indifference that situated over her features were enough to convey what words would miss, the lack of care for the person before her. While she may not have the feelings of affection for any of those who would go so far for their own peace, she had an obligation to watch, and later react in a different manner. As the scene continued, her visage contorted slightly, as if she wanted to portray an emotion that she had yet to decide upon. It dawned on her that she didn't necessarily have to watch the scene fully, as they usually upset her to some degree.
Turning away from the scene, she sighed softly and fiddled with the hem of her dress. The familiar bang ricocheted off the walls, the resonance of the weapon vibrating throughout the alley. The celestial female sighed once more and returned to the end of the scene.

1) I like the idea it seems to personify her more.
2)I think it would be very difficult to acquire any real responses from other characters if she were a mute, being a mute is one thing in real life, but a totally different ballgame in roleplay and writing. If you cna pull sucha thing off I will be all up for it, but to be an advanced rolepalyer with such a role as wel as having the ability to inflict such emotion and connection with others is certainly a new task I have never believed possible to such an extent as ebing sutck in ones physical and mental assests, but completely nn-verbal...actions do speak louder than words and it would be somethign accomplished if pulled off by the correct person correctly.
3) IT seems quite like something that is rather obvious to her. She of course would be one to seem defenseless, but that is entirely untrue to whosheis for to have great mercy one would have to also have great strength to be feared. Her silence could portray into this andfor some reaosn i think of God in the movie "Dogma" when you speak of her as such a being, Mute, appearing defenseless, being angery and no one really knowing...
I will convey with savannah as to whether or not you show the potential for this part...also be aware that we need you to be extremely active with such a role, a mte may not be voiced, but can always and must always be present...

A fully mute character jsut seems out of the question to the views of the MoDs please reconsider your process of thought and make a new original idea. As for her being a more calm and collected being who does not talk to often and is more set back into her mind rather than a verbal speaker that would be fine. But we will need lines and actions to work with, darling.

Perhaps you cna come upw ith at least one more, more solid idea of originality for us to ensue upon.
4th) (One MoD said: The way you describe Ramiel is a little contrary to what I'd picture her as from her description. Your first idea dealt with somewhat bottled up anger, when Ramiel honestly comes across as one who feels no anger to others but rather sympathy for their shortcomings. Jacob's description clearly states that she seems unable to anger.
Ramiel being mute seems interesting... But I do see a problem with it as an archangel must carry out their duty by instilling good virtue in human beings. Mercy is not just a characteristic of Ramiel, it is the virtue she resides over. This means that she must encourage mercy in other beings, something that is incredibly difficult to enforce with the lack of a voice.
Her last idea is to make Ramiel seem rather defenseless. This one I am fine with for the most part, as long as she doesn't go about acting like she really is not powerful.
5th) (One MoD Said: A more defenseless, treehugger may be cool to have just because it would be interesting for such a strong being to be weak in a sense. However maybe as her personality is altered (if we go with that idea) she becomes more violent?
6th) Just finish the rp and fix a few things suggested above.

What makes you a good choice for such a role?:
This role is a significant role that holds such dramatic contrast within itself. Raphael being the twin to Lucifer himself, not identical but their essence mirrored one another. Already having Lucifer I think no one else would be able to mirror myself other than myself so well.
List three Original ideas brought to life through you and your character:
1)"Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael had been very close friends from the moment they had come into existence. Lucifer's fall came hard to the three others, but especially Raphael, whom had been from the same mold as Lucifer himself, a mirror image, a brother."

Being a brother of the same mold as Lucifer Raphael would be one hit by Lucifer's fall jsut as hard if not worse than Michael. this would lead him into a mental state of complete conflict of knowing what is right and what his heart feels is right. To be so conflicted emotionally the member sof the court could have deemed him unable and unfit to rule over his charges. The council would have deemed Raphael to have his title of protection taken from him still retaining his title as an Archangel and holding his pwoers he would have no true judgement to be made until it was deemed he was once again fit to lead the Heavens once more with his brothers and sisters.
Raphael would have been one to fall at this point in his life. He felt without any responsibilities he had no need to continue on as an Archangel. Of course in Lucifer's fall most of the council of 777 archangels had left all together leaving fewer and fewer as time went by. Raphael did not infact fall from Heaven to Hell as the others had, but instead went willingly to the earth cutting his wings form his body and walking as a mortal. (Of course much of this is stated in vague detail in the history of angelic beings, but my ideas give a broader prospective.)
God however, seeing the pain that Gabriel and Michael held for losing two brothers had at last shown mercy upon Rapahel and instead of allowing mortality to strip him of life he was given power once more. God hismelf gave the archangel his wings back only to find them faded to a shade of grey Raphael was made not Fallen, but guardian of mankind. Raphael started the age of mercy from God when those who fell saw the error of their way and turned back to God guardianship was granted to them by Raphael being the first of amny to come. raphael was not only the first guardian, but the first to regain access into Heaven and reclaim his throne once mroe and his charges as before. he of course would still remain conflicted by hsi emotions with Lucifer's fall, but he found spending his time to do other tasks than mour was great to keephis mind ff of things. I want to give him the sense that there is a darkness within him that wants to joinLucifer, but he holds strong to his fiath in Heaven and the council and God. To me Raphael would not be weakened by this so much as he would be more disciplined by this.
He works to push himself from his heart finding his emotions to be his true and most fatal of weaknesses.
2) Being the angel of Humility he would be the exact mirror of Lucifer, this would grant him access into Lucifer's mind and thoughts and the like wise to the latter. I think the two should hold a connection between one another's minds to see into one anothers thoughts, unable to reach out exactly beyond the mind, but to keep the two opposites so attracted by a single connection of the minds would create the conflict the shrouds the mind of Raphael and could possibly prove a weakness into Lucifer's own mind.
3) Raphael bound Azazel under a desert called Dudael according to Enoch 10:4–6:
And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgment he shall be cast into the fire.
This would grant the Raphael isn't one without enemies him and Azazel having a darkened past of their own. Being one of the only beings in Heaven who are of knowledge and Healing rather than tactics and war I don't want to leave him with an emotional shall fragmented by hsi own mental torments, but i want him to hold greater conflicts than jsut that. he has enemies and those enemies will hold grudes beyond all others.
Asmodeus himself beign one of his gretest enemies would surely cause a dramatic situation given it was hsi daughter that Asmodeus first went after, Sarah.
4) Being Healer he shoudlhave total pwoer in such things noted for disguising hismelf before in mortal form i think he would be much like Gabriel living life on Earth trying to keep his time occupied I think he could be found as a real mordern day healer, doctor.
Example Roleplay:
Raphael watched vigorously as his other half was jerked from hsi vision by Michael adn Gabriel. Michael was the one who gave the final blow and binded the demonic Archangel Raphael once called his brother. To see sucha horrr was enough as he was still young and uncorrupted by the tortures of existence. Raphael took on the wieght of the greatest pains. He could do nothing to go agianst his supperior Michael nor God. He could no longer continue this way.
At last his mind was made. He could not bare to be without his twin, his counterpart, his soul mate, and brother. raphael takes out his angel blade only to at last free hismelf of the burden he had taken upon hismelf. The pain was more than enough to create shock in the mind and body. On his knees at last he continued cutting at his feathered limbs. The bone grinding sloly as blood bathed his back. The winds of the sky at alst seeking their freedom fromhis power the angel fell from grace. Falling throguh time and space his body burning as he passed beyond the stars and beyond comprehension. The couds not daring to part for his fall as lightening struck the earth and thunder shook the ground of which he was about to become consumed by. He knew without his brother he must suffer the torments of Hell alone. The torments he would suffer as a mortal. The blade dripped fire from it's tip soaked int eh blood of an angel as his body approached it's final fall to the Earth. the ground however, did not open it's mouth for him as instead the oceans embraced in as the sea rose to cradle the giant who had fallen. The earth shoook for seven days endlessly as waves of greater size than that of the mountains temselves covered the lands. At last raphael awoke in a submerged state of body and mind. Raphael stood and the oceans reseeded to lower levels. As the waves at alst were created by the fall of Rapahel. Forever mre crashing fromthe banks of each land and kingdom. On the day the earth stopped shaking it found itself a new leader whos tood as tall as the trees even higher to the skies than ever, but upon touching the earth and fertile soils of god's making he began to shrink. Rapahel was at alst mortal as the kingdom of man embraced him as a healer and teacher of God.
God was saddened by rapahel's fall, but knew it was a choice he had made in the saddness of his own loss. In the night god gave raphael his sight back into his own mind where he remembered his life as an archangel. raphael at alst accepted God once more into his life and his wings were belssed again. As a prophet of Gabriel he guided the souls of the sinful to the Lord. He was given guardianship over these beigns and each of them were taken under his wings as his children.
raphael spent nealry two hudnred years in the kingdom of man util at last God saw that mankind was no longer bale to be saved and he desired Raphael to be saved ebfore such darkness spread. Rapahel became accepted back unto the Lord his God. Taking up his throne once mroe he was embraced by hsi siblings to find new seats filled by new faces, but old seats destroyed as the kingdom of God seemed to becoem smaller after the vanishing and banishing of Lucifer and hsi follwoers. He couldn't bare the memories any longer. He had to seek council with God.
Rapahel began to pray to God before his own council,"God, why must i suffer so much for one who has done Heaven wrong?" God did not answer. Rapahel asked another question, "Must the world suffer because of my short comings? Must the people go punished ebcause of my emotions? Must I leave as well from who I was and who I have become once more?"
God did not answer, but Raphael found his answers in his questions. He only cared for the Earth and God's children and how his own actions would affect them. He showed great Humility in caring for mankind and God saw this. Rapahel walked to the gates of Heaven metting Earth. Taking a step forward he looks abck to God. "I follow you lord...your will be done." Taking a step he became more preserved with hsi emotions and far mroe colelcted upon entering the world an angel who helaed mankind. He guded them from the pains of sina dn grief and of lost loves. Raphael found his palce and slowly developed his own life into serving no one bu god and the mortals of the Earth.

The top angels so to speak. They are the Great Warriors of God. They have many powers and God has sent them to earth to protect the Humans and keep order. They watch over the Guardians, Humans and Nephilim. If an Archangel ever sided with Lucifer they would be feared by many. They hold power within a high council within heaven and are the judges of heaven to decide who is dark and who is not.
There being only seven Lucifer was once among this high group of God's soldiers. He was cast down and is now one of the Princes of Hell.
