New Kindle Paperwhite with Goodreads Integration

Today, Amazon announced their new Kindle Paperwhite, which will start shipping on 30 Sept. According to their announcement, one of the new features includes:

New Goodreads Integration-Combines the world's largest e-reading community and the world's largest community of book lovers. Join over 20 million other readers and see what your friends are reading, share highlights, and rate the books you read with Goodreads on Kindle, available exclusively from Amazon.

But, the purchase page for the new Kindle Paperwhite lists the feature as "COMING SOON".

I'm very curious to find out if the feature will be coming soon to all Kindles or if it will only be available on newer models.

I saw this, too. It will probably be coming to all models and apps via a software update, at least that's what I expect if Amazon want to fully capitalize on their purchase of GR.
