I subscribe to this magazine just so I can save his articles! How Annie Wilkes is that? I really enjoy them, though.
I remember back when he was the only columnist and they had all this bs in the back when they didn't run a column that was really stupid. I'm glad they came to their senses. I've been subscribing since i was 14.
Did you ever notice if you go to EW's website King doesn't even have a description about himself... no words needed!

The list was of literary villians and yes, Rob, NPH is Doogie Howser, MD. :)
Unfortunately, both of my sons play it on their guitars ALL THE TIME and, between the two of them, have memorized the words to all the versions, so Uncle Stevie didn't hurt or help me with that particular earworm!

i love SK's reading lists, usually something on them i enjoy. Too bad my own personal TBR list is so long right now.
I joked to my friend that there should be a Law & Order Network 5 years ago! She said "There is. It's called TNT."

Not such a fan of Michael, but it is sad. He did check out too soon, honestly. It's nice when so many people can come up with good things about someone when so much bad was said about them. Too bad it had to be posthumously.
Yeah, the carpet thing was a bit strange. But hey, most artists that are worth their salt are usually completely off their rockers anyway!

Wow, never even heard of that music video . . . was it ever finished? I'd like to see it. Must say the carpet thing was hella weird, who knows what he was on then. I loved MJ's music, not so much the person. But I am sad that we'll never hear another song from him again.

I have actually seen it on VH1 before around Halloween time. Love the dancing skeleton!
That link is the short version. I think the whole version is 20 minutes or so... here is part 1:

I liked the recent article about time spent in front of the computer. I thought it was funny how he added how he hoped to live another ten years, twenty if he didn't get hit by any more minivans.
This hasn't been posted online yet, that's why I haven't posted the link. As soon as it is I will put the link on here for all to enjoy! Not sure why this hasn't been posted online yet.
Uncle Stevie rhapsodizes about the small film "Carriers"Read on:

Rachel wrote: "I really wanna find this movie now."What's surprising is that this movie is mostly shown here in the Philippine's known cinemas..
I am glad I read Richard Yates's Revolutionary Road. It is a excellent written book and did have some horrifying elements near the end in which one orderly commented to another, a dark bit of dialogue...
I'm a big fan of the Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child, although I have yet to read the one on the list.

Do you agree with Stephen King that the writers strike has caused more people to be involved in politics this election? I do believe I have watched more debates then usual.
