A View from the Bridge

I have started reading this play again this year, this time in part 4. It's a popular play amongst students as it is quite straight-forward, exciting and dramatic. I start by treating it as a greek tragedy, which essentialy it is, and it is thus a good intro into the aristotleian (I think that's how you spell it!)dramatic structure and greek playwriting, the tragic hero etc. I also use it to introduce allegory and we look at it through the context of McCarthyism in the USA of the 1950s. Simple play but you can take it to many levels, depending on your class. Any comments, questions or suggestions on this?
