I like how the rebellion happens whilst we’re hearing about what’s happening in the arena. I rather read 100 pages of a hunger games than a rebellion. (hide spoiler)]

I do wonder if there was another stipulation for the 75 anniversary, but then Snow decided to change it to the tributes being reaped from the existing victors. Also, I am sad that Peeta and Katniss didn’t get to say goodbye this time around. I like Peeta’s thinking like a Career and studying and training before the Games. Poor Haymitch! I think all the drinking got to him if he can’t hit the side of the house with the knife. Can’t believe he was part of the 50th anniversary and had to deal with 47 tributes vying for the title of victor. Would love to read his story and journey. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 23: (view spoiler)[I cannot believe that the arena is a clock with a new threat appearing every hour or so within their wedge. I don’t care if Johanna doesn’t like Wiress and Beetee. She has to acknowledge that they are geniuses in their own right. Also, I really like how everyone is helping Katniss keep Peeta alive. Or are they? I wonder how they got the jabberjays to copy Prim’s voice. The fact that Katniss didn’t get to say goodbye and now is hearing Prim scream must be the worst kind of torture there is. (hide spoiler)]

It was in this book that she fell for Peeta. I think it was the moment when his heart stopped when he hit the force field. Her real emotions came out in that scene. I knew she loved him and that’s why she wanted to save him. Too bad that they couldn’t. (hide spoiler)]
