She seemed really needy in this book but I loved how she realised that Peeta is an amazing human who deserves to live, it's about time someone realised that and it's not all about the girl on fire. Cinna is definitely one my favourite characters. He's just such a human, all the capitol people are plastic. He's the living amongst the barbies. President snow turns my stomach. Peeta is an angel and I hope he's okay :( I miss him already :(:( FINNICK AND JOANNA I LOVE. FINNICK IS BAE. (hide spoiler)]

Started a little early! Up to Chapter 9 (view spoiler)[ I feel like the tour went by a little fast and Collins has a way of shocking the reader but then moving swiftly on. I wish we got to know more about the other districts, the movie adaptation did a better job than the author has in my opinion. I think getting engaged to Peeta was a little try hard on Katniss' part. No wonder Snow still isn't happy. Everyone standing up to the head peacekeeper for Gale was risky, I was surprised Peeta even joined in but I suppose he has to keep up the façade that Gale is just a cousin. (hide spoiler)]

This is my second or third time reading Catching Fire and I've watched all the movies but Part Two of Mockingjay. Love this series!

Peeta giving her the pearl was so thoughtful, they know each other so well he knows she will do anything to save him. Sometimes I wonder if she pushes away her feelings for him because it was the Capitol's idea? Anyone can see that they have a connection because they have been through so much together.
