Awesome. Yeah I really liked it. It's not too far off the book. They've used a lot of the same lines. :) <3 OMG Finnick and Peeta and Mags are amazing. I also like Beetee. But my ultimate fave's Johanna by far. I also love Enobaria's teeth XD

That's good. I hate it when they change it too much. Awesome. I will let you know what I think when I have seen it! Got to say I love Jennifer though. She's an incredible actress.

Yeah agreed. Just proves the point in this movie too. So many heart-wrenching moments! And the final shot was amazing. Such a cliffhanger! And you can see her emotions change extremely. Hopefully, because I'm watching it again tonight, I'll notice different things.

Started. Already on Chapter 3. I really feel this is going to be a really goooood book. It's only the beginning yet I feel it gripping and exciting already ! :)

I feel so bad for Peeta :( It really hurts knowing this for just the show and convincing the Capitol and President Snow. Only now did I realize that their government is wicked when they unmercily killed one of Thresh's and Rue's relatives and their blackmailing. I just wish there'd be a POV of Peeta so we'd get sucked in by his thoughts on Haymitch withholding information. (hide spoiler)]

Just finished Part I! It was very slow but I still liked it, in general. I loved how Collins described the current Panem and how each district is struggling, especially Twelve. Very well structured.

Now for Part II! Hope it gets more action ands uspense!

52%: (view spoiler)[It's nice to get even a glimpse of the previous games, specifically the Quarter Quells. What Haymitch did to win was inpressive! He really outsmarted that girl. (hide spoiler)]

I'm loving every sentence of this book! The tension and thrill is just really gripping and palpable!

I just realized something... (view spoiler)[I believe Katniss going back to the arena is terrible for both her mom and Prim, but I just felt that it's really lacking. I think I needed to witness more of it. This is also true with Gale and Katniss. Katniss obviously likes Gale more than Peeta, but I don't like how she obliviously take Peeta for granted. What Haymitch said was right. Even after how many years of Peeta's sacrificial kindness and concern, Katniss doesn't deserve him. (hide spoiler)]

FINISHED IT! I can't explain what I'm feeling right now. This is going to be a long hangover! I can't wait 'til we all buddy read Mockingjay as I'm tempted to read it now because of the unbearable cliffhanger! That ending was so gooooood. It was such a tease!!! My mouth was actually on the verge of saying obscenities. All those tension, twists and sudden turn of events make this book worth reading. I love it I wish I could've read this series sooner! I have a lot of expectations for Book 3 but I have to lower them as I've been warned it won't be ending according to your liking. That's upsetting to know!

Rachel, with your comments I'm growing more tempted to watch the movie! What do you think of it? Does it have a lot of similarities with the book or is it a let down just like books-turned-movies end up like?

I am so glad you liked it!! Hope I can finish it tonight. Yes, you absolutely must watch it, Mei! The first movie is a huge let down, I didn't enjoy it much at all. The filming was terrible, the camera shakes a lot, and it just didn't feel right if you know what I mean. Catching Fire was so much better. l loved it. Apart from the fact that I cried during most of it!! :)) It was so amazing though. They managed to get all the main events right and it the casting was perfect. I gotta go tot school now, but I'll say more when I gy back! :))
