I'm glad I did your task early. My friends have disappeared from Most Read Authors link on my book page.

Since my friends are close in the number of books they have, and tend to go on adding sprees, I want to mark this here. I got it a few days ago, and have re-verified with the new "alternate" method.

I rolled a 3 and a 5

So my options are:

3,5
Friend: Stephanie
Author: Roger Zelazny

5,3
Friend: Jayme
Author: Nobuhiro Watsuki

If I do manage to get to this task, I'll probably go with Zelazny, as I've read some of his before and loved it, and the other is manga and I don't want to get sucked into a series :P But who knows. We'll see how I feel around Thanksgiving - maybe itching for a distraction!

Me too - my friends have also disappeared from my Most Read Authors link - I made a list of the friends and their Most Read Authors on September 03 so I have that list but if it has changed since then I have no way of knowing. I have a book picked out based on that list and I might get to it next week. Hope that's OK even if a regenerated list would have a different author Nov. 16 than was the case on Sept. 03.

the mods have said all along that if you simply indicate in your post the date when you made your pick, that would work.
