He sighed heavily before getting out of the truck, slamming the door. "Fine, but i'm going out tomorrow." Avery said- knowing tonight would be boringly dreadful, considering it was only seven.

It was already pitch black by that time.viv took him back inside

He grabbed his things, silently walking up to one of the guest rooms and laying his things down on the bed.

Around eleven there was a loud scream down stairs. They had revived a phone call

[Morgan]

Avery stretched slightly as he got up from the bed, having fallen asleep when he hear the scream. He quickly got out of bed, walking down stairs. "What's wrong?" He asked nobody in particular.

Viv and Jon were pulling on jackets. "It's all wrong. I knew it!" Viv ran out. "We have to get to the hospital." Jon said, tossing Avery a coat

He groggily slipped on his coats, the sleep still ebbing away. "Hold on what's happening?" He asked, catching up to Viv.

"Chris...Chris.." She was mumbling as she climbed into the front seat of Jon's jeep

[Morgan]

His eyes widened slightly, wondering what the hell she was talking about, but more worried about what was wrong with Chris. Avery got into his own truck quickly, backing out of the driveway.

Jon lead the way, driving him and Viv to the hospital where Zac waited by the reception desk, pacing.

[Morgan]

He followed behind them, walking up to Zac. "What happened?"

"He got shot. There was a fight and he got in the middle." Zac stumbled over his words, continuing to pace. Viv was bursting into tears "He lost a lot of blood." Zac continued. This was bad as Chris had a rare blood type

[Morgan]

He rolled his eyes, god why was the kid so... he didn't even have words. "Well are they doing anything to help him? is he gunna live?" He asked anxiously, taking a step closer, balling his hands up into fist in anger. Where was Zac during this fight?

"I don't even know. They got him right in the head so they gotta her the bullet out." Zac said, noticing Avery get closer

[Morgan]

Avery sighed heavily, walking away and slumping into a chair as he ran a hand over his face.

Viv joined Zac in pacing, Jon took a seat by Avery. He was nervous and angry

[Morgan]

Avery looked over at Jon, nervously tapping his fingers.

Finally an apologetic doctor came out. He was a black man, perhaps in his early thirtys. "Mr and Mrs Maldavode?" He asked, manga long their last name though that was of no importance at the moment. The two went with him to see Chris, Zac following

[Morgan]

Avery hesitated for a second before getting up from his seat and following them into the room

"We couldn't dislodge all of the bullet so it will be permanently in his brain. He's going to have a case if amnesia due to the location the bullet impacted." The man rambled on

[Morgan]

Avery stayed back as his parents stood beside him, looking at Chris anxiously.

He was in a tranquil state, looking thin and fragil. "He needs to stay until we can find some blood for him as there was too much lost." The man informed them. Viv looked over at Avery

[Morgan]

He paced for a second, before taking a seat besides his bed, noticing Viv's look.

"Now you get why I wanted you to stay?" Viv asked though it was rhetorical

[Morgan]

He rolled his eyes, propping his head up on his hands. "Coincidence. And even if i was at the hotel you could've just called." He said, unconsciously running his thumb over the top of Chris upturned hand.

"It's too far. You needed to be here." Viv retorted, watching Chris lay help less. "Chris has o- blood, no one else here does except..." She paused

[Morgan]

"Except me, I know that Viv." He told her before standing up.

[iomai]

Viv looked back down at Chris, "I know these things. " was all she said. "Sir if you'd be willing to do it then I suppose we can get a pint from you." The doctor said

[Morgan]

He looked back down at Chris, shaking his head, still unable to believe this had happened. "Of course," Avery said, turning towards the doctor and following him out of the room.

The doctor lead him out to the hall where some nurses waited. The took over and lead Avery to a room where they asked him some medical questions

[Morgan]

Avery answered them all, sitting down into a chair before they started to draw his blood.

They took about a pint and a half from him, as not to make him too dizzy. They thanked him before hurrying off to keep it warm

[Morgan]

He sat like that in the chair for a few minutes before he finally got his legs to start working and walking back into Chris' room.

They had hooked Chris up with the blood already. His heart was beating still almost though it was beating

[Morgan]

Avery leaned his head back against the wall as he took a seat, closing his eyes.

Viv and Jon were getting results from the doctor and x-rays. Zac was by Chris's side, looking gittery

[Morgan]

Despite all that was going on Avery found himself falling asleep in the chair.

When Chris regained consciousness he saw the man on the chair though didn't recognize him

[Morgan]

Avery was nuged awake by Viv when he regained consciousness. He woke up smiling slightly.

Chris was watching everyone move around him. "What's going on?" He demanded

[Morgan]

"You got shot," Avery said, clearing his throat before standing up.

[iomai]

Chris raised an eyebrow at him

[Morgan]

He raised an eyebrow right back, sticking his ham in his pocket. "In the head."

Who are you?" He asked. The man didn't even seem familiar to Chris

[Morgan]

"Um... Don't play Chris." He told him with a wiry smile, pushing him in the shoulder until he continued to stare at him. His jaw dropped, "You don't remember me?" Avery asked.

Chris shook his head, looking around at the other two people in they room, they didn't look familiar either.

[Morgan]

He took a step back, processing it.

"You remember me?" Viv asked, almost freightened. Chris shook his head, making her burst out in tears. The doctor came in, "as I said he has amnesia." He informed them

[Morgan]

Avery shook his head, running a hand through his hair.

[iomai]

"He'll be staying the night just so we can run some more tests and ensure his health." The man said. "Uh no. I'm getting out of here." Chris said, trying to stand up
