Mitch raised his eyebrow, "you'd kill a father-to-be?" He asked. He didn't want to tell Isabel about the breeder baby this way.. But oh well.
((Lol what if Isabel and Mario thought he meant Isabel was pregnant? XD))
((Lol what if Isabel and Mario thought he meant Isabel was pregnant? XD))
Mario was shocked by his words, but didn't lower the gun, "Yes, if the father-to-be continues to be a dick."
((OMG))
((OMG))
He looked Mario's face over, "your kill Sam's last bit of family?" He asked, feeling a little bad for using his half sister, "in a way, I'm all she has left of our father."
Mitch rolled his eyes and kissed Isabel lightly, just to bug Mario, then went to the edge and lifted himself out of the water. He shook his shaggy blond hair and crossed his arms over his chest, "yes?"
He arched his eyebrow, "and why's that? Am I nod good enough for the rebels?" He didn't want to be a rebel; he hated them so much.. He hated Mario the most.
He nodded slowly, "yet I am.." He didn't want to be related to a murder and more then Mario wanted him here, "looks like we don't get everything out way, huh lover boy?"
"The only way you'll wait for her is in the cells." Mario said, serious. He didn't want him near Sam.
Mario rolled his eyes, just his luck that Sam's stubbornness came from her father's side. 2 rebels came in and went up to Mario.
"Escort him to a cell."
"Escort him to a cell."
Mitch glared at Mario but let the guards take him. He looked back at Isabel softly and hoped shed be able to come see him still.,
Mario pinched his nose, "Isabel, you can't just bring outsiders here. He could very well threaten the rebellion."
Mario sighed, "He's staying locked up until, I see he's not a threat. You can visit but he is not to leave, understood?"
Lily sat on the edge of the pool, her feet dangling in the water, it was nice to be outside after so long.
"'Don't worry, I promise they're not going to get to you,'Kyle had said when he and his sister were in the city. Mackenzie's eyes showed great fear, but she had felt reassurance when her brother had made her a promise. He'd never broken one yet. The two of them were going to escape the city, and make it to the Rebel Headquarters where they would both be safe. They hadn't been expecting for--"Kyle's memory ended when he finished swimming laps in the pool at the Rebel Headquarters. People always said, or at least, they sometimes said, that what's in the past is in the past. Those people were hypocrites because they also said that you have to learn from the past. So which was it? Remember the past, or forget it? Kyle swam to the end of the pool lane he was in. Water droplets clung to his wet hair, and the color of the pool made his blue eye color pop. Aside from a girl that he saw at the other end of the pool, there wasn't really anyone out here. Kyle looked over his shoulder to see the other girl sit comfortably with her feet in the water. He'd seen her around a couple of times, but never really talked to her. He hadn't really talked to anyone here, actually. Kyle looked away from her and grabbed onto the ladder that dipped into the pool and hoisted himself out. Like all, or at least, most guys, he only wore a pair of swimming shorts when he went swimming. The backside of his naked upper body was exposed to Lily as Kyle got out of the pool, then walked over to the chair where he had his towel laid out. He grabbed it with his right hand, then he used it dry off his hair.
Lily hadn't noticed that Kyle was there, she too deep in thought. Ever since she escaped the facility all she could think about was that her sister had sacrificed her freedom for her and a girl she had never even met. She kept wondering that maybe if she were stronger, a fighter like her sister, she could have done something but now she was here just waiting and hoping that one day Dahlia would just show up here. Even here, Lily didn't feel very useful, she couldn't fight to save her life, even if she could see the future it never helped her. She could gather food but couldn't hunt, she was a fair healer but that wasn't useful at this point. Lily sighed and shook her thoughts away, she had to stop doing this to herself. She looked up at Kyle, who in her opinion was undeniably good-looking, and offered a small smile. Lily was always nice to people, even if she felt like she had to be on her guard. It wasn't often that Lily would be comfortable around people, though that was a trait she probably developed over her time in the facility. Regardless of what was going on in her head, she always managed a smile, few actually realised how untrusting she really was. Her mother always told her that "it didn't matter how you felt, it only mattered how you looked."
Kyle had returned the wave back to her with a smile of his own when Lily waved at him. She seemed friendly. Either that, or she was good at hiding her unpleasant nature and emotions like Kyle was. If people knew how angry Kyle was with himself, and how he had let someone close to him die, then no one would talk to him. In a way, him excluding himself from people was making it easy for people so they wouldn't have to worry about that part of him. Kyle finished drying his hair, then he slipped his sandals on after he draped his towel over his shoulder. Once he grabbed his bag that had his clothes in it, he realized that he didn't have anything else to do. He only planned on getting in some laps so he could get a good work out. Nothing else.Kyle walked around the pool and made his way over to Lily. He stood beside her, then he looked down at her and asked "Is it cool if I sit with you?" He wasn't much of an optimist, but he figured that the worst this girl could say to him was 'no'.
Lily nodded, "sure" she told him, biting her lip. "I'm Lily" she said with another smile. She looked at the water, waiting for him to sit down. It was almost impossible to guess her thoughts at that point, even a mind reader would find it hard to catch anything at the moment, her mind was a blur. She was worrying about her sister, happy to be out of the facility and among other things, she was wondering about the new guy that was now sitting next to her. For some inexplicable reason, there was something about Kyle that made her curious, whether or not that was a good thing she didn't know. One thing that Lily was good at was reading people, it came in handy for her on many occasions. Kyle was a hard person to read though, she figured it was because he was hiding something. Not that it mattered, most people had a secret in one way or another, sometimes it wasn't even their secret but one that another person had passed to them and then it became their burden to carry. Either way, Lily was the type that didn't ask the questions she didn't want answers to.
"Kyle," he said back to her then he set his bag down beside him as he sat down beside her. He sat in a similar position like Lily's, so his legs were dangling over the edge of the pool deck, and were submerged in the water. He sat back comfortably so his hands were splayed out on the ground by his legs. Once Kyle had sat down, he realized that he didn't know what to say to Lily. It'd been what felt like a century since he had a decent conversation with someone. Or at least, had wanted to have a conversation with someone. Where could he possibly start though? He'd prefer to not bring up his gift, so he dismissed that idea. "So..what's up?" he asked after several awkward moments of silence. It wasn't much of a conversation starter, he realized, but it would at least fill the silence for now. His legs absentmindedly kicked slowly in the pool water creating several ripples in the once clear surface. Now that he thought about it, he could technically see how his gift worked with Lily if he tried. It was hard to get a reading from someone by impulse though. Often times, the images of someone's future came at random. He knew that those fortune tellers who read people's hands or tarot cards for money must have been faking some of what they said. No one could really control when they received a sighting of someone's future.
Lily laughed at his terrible attempt at starting a conversation, "nothing much, you know you don't have to be so careful about what you say to me. I get how daunting it is but if either of us say something ridiculous we can just laugh and move on, deal?" She offered with a reassuring smile. That was probably one of Lily's best aspects, she was really easy for people to talk to. Even people hadn't met her before often spoke to her about everything because of her friendly smile and how trustworthy you could could practically see she was.She tried to avoid making contact with him, she didn't feel right seeing the future of someone she barely knew, in her opinion it was an invasion of privacy and a lot of people didn't even want to know their future. It was even worse when people wanted to know their future and then didn't like the answer. Sometimes she just figured she was blessed with a curse in terms of her ability.
Dimitria walked in hesitantly, and approached the pool side slowly. She sat n the edge and dipped her toes in slightly and removed her leather jacket, exposing her dark purple tank top and ripped black mesh gloves.
A minute later, Matty walked in, a pair of shorts and a t-shirt over her swim suit. She had a towel in her hand.
