Okay, I watched the trailer for Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters, and was shocked whilst watching it and to be honest I am still shocked. Seriously, this doesn't even look like it even resembles the book and it looks like its going to be a cheap and cheesy Vampire film, I know I cannot judge so quickly without seeing more but I have researced the actors etc...and feel that they may have chosen the wrong people, especially Lissa. when I first heard that it was being transformed into a movie I was disappointed and since seeing the trailer I am now scared about what it is going to turn my favourite book series into. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Yes, the trailer does look a little cheesy and I'm still not sure about the actors they picked, but who knows. It could turn out better than expected. I'm still going to give it a chance because I've been waiting to see these books made into a movie or a series or something.

This is one of my favorite book series, and I am very nervous about it becoming a movie. Unfortunately, I don't think the movie is going to be as good as the books, but who knows maybe the movie won't be too terrible :/

I don't think i will watch the movie. I tend to "try" stay away from the movies that i've read. I prefer my own imagination instead of seeing it elsewhere.

I am afraid it will be like with Anne Rice's books adaptations. Cheap and poor...

except Interview with the vampire of course which was great

Ugh. This is why I hate when the turn books into movies. If you really think they'll be able to follow the entire book then you're gullible. First of all it's a fictional book. Fictional (Non of this is remotely real). In which they are trying to bring into real life. It would be entirely too expensive to bring something really fictional into a movie. Which consists of real people. And to do so in such a short period of time when in the book it's like 3 months pass and in the movie it's like 3 weeks.

Moral of the story. The movies are never going to follow the book entirely. Everrr... But if you want to support the author who made an effort to try and turn her book into a movie you'd just go and see it and not complain. She has absolutely no say in how the movies go but she does get profit if we fans go and see it.

Everyone who's ever read a book that's being turned into a movie is scared. Why? Because movies never follows books. If they did you wouldn't be scared.

The series Vampire Diaries doesn't follow the books and I still watch it.

I agree. The trailer looks very cheesy and not appealing at all.

I am hoping that more trailers will be released and will help to calm my nerves over how awful this first trailer is.

I really enjoyed the books and would love to see the books come alive in a movie but, if the best the movie producers can do is a cheesy teen flick, then i say leave it alone.

Amber agreed. It did seem sexual in a lot of ways. The books did have some sexy parts in them but that wasn't the only thing the books were about.

It would
