Megan | 25 comments Hey all, so I would like to have a page with a contact me form and I know that blogger has a gadget for that but it'll be on the main page and I don't really want it there how do I put something like that in a page?
Also would love advise on anything that can help make my blog original.

Roberta R. (Offbeat YA) (offbeat-ya) If you type something like "blogger contact form in a static page" you'll find a number of links offering solutions - like...

As for making your blog original - the first step is having an unique header. You can either design it yourself with a program like Photofiltre (similar to Photoshop, but free) or Gimp - or you can ask a friend to make one...or search for a pic you like on the net (copyright-free of course) and work on it...
But what really makes a blog original, IMH, is when it has an unique voice :).

I went on your page, and since you asked for advice, here are my 2 cents. If you like blue for your fonts, you need a different background, in order to make the words stand out - they're a little difficult to read on the one you have now. Same for your profile - white on that grayish background, it kinda fades. I would also enlarge the column on the right a little, for the archive titles to have more space and not get broken down.

I hope it helps :).

Megan | 25 comments Thank You! I only hope I did that right.

I am trying to find a header that I like and I don't have a friend that does anything like that and I know I'm not good at making my own.

The background was the only one I liked when I opened my blog but I wont mind having a different one but I would rather it be unique like how I want a the header. I'll work on the color of and a few of the fonts of something.

And thank you for telling me about the archive I was just messing with the width of the left and center earlier and didn't realize that about the archive being like that, so I have made it a little wider.

Roberta R. (Offbeat YA) (offbeat-ya) You're welcome :).

I'd also recommend this site, full of easy tools for designing/enhancing your own's easy and free :) (unless you want them to do the work for you)
