Derek followed her down the stairs. Why had Steven reacted that way when she found out her name? What was Amelia? Did she have any powers? Thousands of questions were whirling in her head and he wanted answers. If possible he wanted them fast.
((Sorry! I was having dinner)) Amelia looked behind her, she felt like he was thinking about something. She took a wild guess when she said," Are you thinking about what happened?". She looked over his face and then commented," I can see it in your eyes, you're dying to know about what I am, aren't you?".

"You're right, I want to know who you are, maybe Lucas has knows something," he said, entering the library. Lucas was sitting on the floor with books stacked around him. "What are you doing?" he called.

Amelia's forehead creased as they entered the library, she looked at Derrek and then looked at Lucas. "Do we really have to? I mean maybe Steven doesn't want us to find out. Besides who am I, I don't need to be searched", she laughed awkwardly. Then she sighed, looking at Derrek then Lucas then back to Derrek. "Fine", she sighed.

"You guys start with stack over there and I'll continue with this one," he said, gesturing to a huge pile of books. He knew it would take them a long time to find anything useful. But it was worth a shot.

Amelia nodded in agreement, she couldn't believe she was taking Derreks orders. She ventured to the left of the library and went through as many documents and books. Nothing about her or her mother, she was sat down with a pile of books around her. She would get up and put them away and then find something else.
"This must be quite a shock to you," Lucas muttered, sitting down next to her. "You know you can talk to me if you need anything," he said, kindly. He always had the same plan be nice and treat a girl good she'd be his girlfriend in about 1 week and BOOM. Dumb her for a prettier girl.
Amelia looked at Lucas and smiled," Yeah it is, but I guess I just have to be mature about it". She looked down as she blushed softly and then looked back at him, he was being so nice," Thank you, but I'm okay". She looked at Derrek for a brief second and then back at Lucas," I'm sorry for all the disturbance".
"Beautiful ladies don't cause any trouble, besides it's nice having you around," he chuckled. He could see that she was falling for him. She's soon going to be mine, he chuckled.
Amelia laughed and raised an eyebrow," Hmm, very cheesy pick up line". She felt bad for causing such a disturbance even though Lucas had said she didn't, she knew she had. Again, she looked over at Derrek, what was wrong with her? He practically hated her.
"But it's a good one," he said, lifting his eyebrow. Something was different abbot her she wasn't squealing and blushing because of his compliment.

Amelia quickly got up and walked towards Derrek, she didnt have time to be flirting and falling for someone. She looked at Derrek," What did you find?". She hoped it wasn't anything too bad, yet who knew? It could be ten times worse than what she was thinking.

Amelia was stunned, was it her mother they were talking about. She kept staring out into something but she didnt know what, she was still caught up in everything. "One of the princes of hell", she whispered slightly. She looked to Derrek and asked," Who are they? What are they?". She wanted to know who these people were, or even if they were people.
"The princes of hell are the kings of the nderworld and the strongest of their kind. And your mom defeated one of them," he said, stunned. He didn't know what to say.

She turned to Lucas to see him looking away, like he was ashamed or something. "Um, h-how", she closed her eyes and took a deep breathe, she laughed bitterly," How is that possible?".

She was out of the library before she knew it. She was outside, in the garden area. She gasped in air and breathed out heavily, her mother was alive? She looked out and slowly her breathing became regular.
"Good job, you guys" Derek muttered, rolling his eyes at them. He followed Amelia, this must have been quite a shock. Finding oout your mother that you thought of as dead wasn't really dead. The idiots could have told her gentler. "How are you?" he muttered, sitting down next to her.
Amelia looked as Derrek sat beside her."Um...I don't know", she said softly," I don't really know what to think, my mind is completely blank. Should I believe she's alive? Or shouldn't I?". She looked him in the eyes softly and shrugged slightly, barely even noticeable.
