Blog RSS Update

Should my blog update automatically using the RSS feed I put into it or do I have to go in and update it manually? It seems to load OK when I do it manually, but isn't updating on its own.

Just curious. It may be a problem at the other end.

It does update automatically, but not immediately. Goodreads checks thousands of author blogs for updates, and the process (checking one at a time) takes about a day. So it can be a day or two before new blog posts import.
