Book can't be found with search?

When I search on "Galaxy: Thirty Years of Innovative Science Fiction" (with or without quotes) I get zero results. That book is definitely in the system, and it can be found by browsing any author's list of books. Why can't the title search find it?

Weird, it shows up if you delete the : from the title and search.

Definitely a good question for the Feedback group. I don't know why the use of the : would kill the search results.

Oh! Because : has a specific meaning to search engines. I forget what it is right now . . .

There have been some problems with the search engine lately -- this should be brought up in the Feedback group, I think.
