Clara finishes putting the groceries and got their leads. They sat waiting at the door with wagging tails.
Jason realized her forgot something and groaned, getting up to leave again.
Clara puts them on their leads and put the leads on her belt. She walks outside with them and starts to jog.
Jason stepped out of his hotel and pulled a hoodie over his head to hide his face.
After a short while she let the leashes drag on the ground as they ran.
He turned and started to walk down the street.
Clara and her dogs ran passed a guy in a hoody.
Jason looked up. It was the girl he'd run into earlier; he recognized her.
Luna, the husky, stops and looks at the boy. Clara walks to Luna with demon and Zally in tow.
Jason stopped and looked back at the dog. "What do you want?" he asked, scratching it between the ears.
"Luna." Clara says walking to them.
Jason pulled his hand away, smiling slightly.
Luna put her paws on Clara's shoulder. She smiles and pets Luna's head.
"Thanks." She says and Luna got down. Demon, the Doberman, growls at the boy. Zally sat at Clara's sides.
"Demon heel." She says and demon looks at Clara, wagging his stub of a tail. She shakes her head, "sorry about him."
"Not a problem," Jason said, attempting a smile. He wondered if she recognized him from earlier...
"So finally got away from the girls." Clara kneels and pets demon.
Yep, she did. "For now, at least," Jason muttered.
"If you want I could loan you demon if you want." Clara jokes.
Jason laughed. "Might help," he teased.
"I heard there is an ice cream place near here that are the best." She says, "want to go?"
Jason shrugged. "Sure, I'm not really busy. Why not?"
"This way." She says walking to the ice cream place. Her dogs follow her with wagging tails.
Jason followed, keeping his hood and sunglasses on.
Clara walks into the shop alone and asked if her dogs could come in. She got the go ahead and let them in.
Jason followed, looking over the menu.
"I'll have a coffee lovers waffle cone, double scope, and three bowls of sherbet please." She orders
Jason looked at her like "are you crazy" and ordered a mint chocolate chip in a cone for himself.
"The sherbet is for my dogs." She looks at him.
She set the sherbet on the ground and took her ice cream.
"Isn't it dangerous to feed that to your dogs," Jason asked, paying.
"If you feed it to them every day yes." She says, "this is their three month treat."
"Oh okay," Jason nodded, sort of understanding but sort of not.
She sits down in a chair next to her dogs and ate her ice cream.
Jason sat down next to her, eating his as well. "So...."
Jason shrugged. "Just trying to get through an awkward moment...."
((This is going nowhere.))"So what do you do in your free time?" Jason asked.
"I'm outside with my dogs." She says
She nods. "That's why they're so mellow"
"Ah," he said, nodding and eating his ice cream
She finishes her ice cream and sits back. "I do miss Michigan thought."
