Stephanie Plum Series

What do you read to fill the time???
I like to listen to Janet Evanovich's stand alone romance books at work on audio book because they are appropriate for the office. Unfortunately, I'm almost through all her stand alone books. Can anyone recommend an author who also writes funny romantic novels that would be work appropriate, but still good? Thanks in advance!
I like Sheryl Woods and Susan Mallery for work appropriate romances. They are clean and still have the feel good comedy to them.

Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day by Toni McGee Causeythis series is like Stephanie on crack in the bayou. Hilarious!!!!
I enjoyed the High Heels Mysteries series by Gemma Halliday. It is the closest I've come to finding a mystery with wacky mishaps and zany side characters that makes me laugh out loud. Still not as good as Janet, but fun none the less :0)

Readers compare my series to Stephanie. They call my Lilly Atkins "the Stephanie Plum of the South!"
Like the sound of your series. Since Home Is Where Your Boots Are
is free on Kindle, I'll check it out.
My series, The MisAdventures of Miss Lilly has been compared to Janet Evanovich. Readers call Lilly "the Stephanie Plum of the South." Volume One: Home Is Where Your Boots Are (Free as an eBook through December
Volume Two: These Boots Are Made for Butt-Kickin' ($.99 through December)
There's also a prologue novella series that can be read at any time (I recommend the reading after the first two. :-)).

I love the Janet Evanovich formula: humor, romance, mystery. All three get me as a reader for life, but I'll take any two elements for a good read. Since December is a little crazy, I hope do a lot of reading in January.

Also really enjoyed the Peaches Monroe series by Mimi Stong. Tracy Ellen starts with A Date With Fate. You will love her and her family. I have a few more but if you love The Stephanie Plum series you'll love these.
The Fireman Who Loved Me by Jennifer Bernard 4-StarsSexy hot and wonderfully sweet

I have enjoyed the Charley Davidson character in Darynda Jones' books, First Grave on the Right is #1. So irreverently funny, but with romance and mystery right up there! I heard the series is wrapping up with the 12th book, will be sad to leave these characters, might have to re-read them, they are that good!
A variety of stories. Just look through my shelves esp. The ones by year that will show you what I've read each year.

with similar humor and mystery I read Gretchen Archer , Susan Boyer, Julie Mulhern and a few others.. all have great mystery series with a lot of humor
