Finished Rebel: Rebel (The Brides of Alba #3) by Linda Windsor

LOVED that book!

Finished Eternity's Edge: Eternity's Edge (Echoes from the Edge, #2) by Bryan Davis

So good!

About to finish: Starlighter (Dragons Of Starlight, #1) by Bryan Davis

Kinda slow. Pretty good, but some annoying decisions brings it down.

It totally grabbed my imagination, and refused to let go. Jennifer read it, and loved it as much as I did.

Ah, cool. Series enders can be really good, or really bad, lol.

brooke1994 (formerlynarnian525) | 2099 comments Eh, forget what I said earlier. I'm feeling skeptical about World without end. There's just too many racy sex scenes (they include gory details that I will not post here) in there for me to feel right about it, especially as a Christian. Hope you guys understand, so now I'm going to read the first book in the Percy Jackson series.

Yeah, I totally understand what you mean. I've quit on a few books because of content before.

brooke1994 (formerlynarnian525) | 2099 comments Yeah. Personally I don't think that books need to be inappropriate to be entertaining.

Cool. Glad to hear it.

Starting on Hurt by Travis Thrasher: Hurt (Solitary Tales, #4) by Travis Thrasher

This is the last book in the series, and I'm anxious that it won't be good. I'm also anxious because this series is very high on anxiety and suspense.

Oh, boy... This book... I wrote a review it was so good.

Now, I'm not sure what to start. I've got plenty on my library shelf... Maybe you'd like to help me decide.

The Fall of Five (Lorien Legacies, #4) by Pittacus Lore

and

Nightmare's Edge (Echoes from the Edge, #3) by Bryan Davis

and

The 13th Tribe by Robert Liparulo

and

Seconds Away (Mickey Bolitar, #2) by Harlan Coben

I read that one. Loved it so much that I had my dad read it. He loved it too.

I then bought the hardback. It was the first novel I've ever purchased.

I kinda feel like a hoarder or something now. LOL. I have such a huge collection of books!
And I only buy books if I really enjoyed reading them!

I read books from the library. Lots and lots of library books. I only buy the ones that I really, really love. And Blink Of An Eye is one of my first *favorites*....

Same! I always start with the library or borrowing from friends. I have this one friend who always has books I really like that she lets me borrow. They are rarely spending-my-money-to-actually-buy books though. Those are much rarer. I guess I just started buying books before you, which is why I have so many, and last year I won a ton of books! I literally have more than 25 books that I recieved for free between the summer of 2012 and this past September, 2013.

Ah! You keep getting me more and more excited to read through Blink of an Eye! Hopefully I'll find a chunk of time this weekend!

Giveaways are awesome!

Hmmm...I've never read anything by Dee Henderson; you'll have to let me know how it is! Have you read this author before?

message 84: by [deleted user] (new)

I read the first two O'Malleys. They were really good. I liked the second one better actually. My sis just started the O'Malleys. I think she likes them better than me! She just keeps going on about how good Dee Henderson is as an author!

Haha, okay. That's good to know. I'll have to keep her in mind then. I have a few other books, okay quite a few other books, I want to read, but this author is getting added to the list!

BTW, I saw you read my review of Two Crosses. I hope you get to read it. It's quite fabulous! :)

message 86: by [deleted user] (new)

I will have to get a hold of a copy. It might be a little bit before I read it

Oh, that's fine, as long as you do sometime! :)

Do you have a "stack" of to-reads as well?

message 88: by [deleted user] (last edited Dec 13, 2013 06:39PM) (new)

lol my to-reads stack has a PhD! (Piled high and Deep)
That is one I learned off of Christian Fiction Devourers :)
Not all of my to-read books are on GR, but most of them are...I think so anyways

message 89: by Dee, YOU'RE A MOD!! (new)

Dee | 2703 comments Mod
Hahahaha!
Oh, yeah! I did see you on there. :)
Me neither, and the majority of the to-reads I clicked on GR, I doubt I will ever get to! :/ But my other "real" list also has a PhD. Actually it might have two! (I think it double-majored, lol)
