Bookbub question

Bookbub wants a deeply discounted price. Whenever I have tried to lower the price on Amazon it tells me it has to be at least $2.99 for the kindle. How can I temporarily lower the price?

I don't understand that. I've had my first book on kindle for 0.99 forever. I put all of my others higher but keep the first one at 0.99.

It is a matter of percentages. If you are set on making 70% of the cost, it can't go below 2.99. To lower it you must switch to making 30%
