I totally missed this thread, and I was going to comment along with you guys! Oh, well!
My 2 cents (view spoiler)
I was not bored at all, but I read the whole book in one sitting, so I guess I didn't have time to be bored, lol!

Ditto.
Now can we FINALLY read Siege and Storm? I have a road trip coming up, about 12 hours driving. Please? Please?

Lol I'm a maybe :) I REALLY liked the ending but I've heard from someone that they got bored again in the middle of the second one and I'm not sure I'm ready for that again. I just want the author to do what she did in the last 30% of the first book for an entire book. It was magical!

I finished reading the second book. the beginning was amazing, kinda how it left off. but it was everything I could do to get myself thru the middle, I kept looking to see how much I had left to go. yesterday I forced myself to finish it wanting to move onto something else. the end was OK, not as strong as the end from the last book. I might read the third book, not entirely sure, it didn't leave me thirsting for more. however, there was lots of you who enjoyed the book from beginning to end. and I will say there is a new character that made me crack a smile all the time and I was always looking to see when he would be popping up. sometimes even in a novel you dislike, a great character can keep you reading. I didn't dislike this book I didn't love it either. since there are so many different opinions on the book, if you loved it you should move forward with the next book for sure :-)
I already finished the second book. I do agree that the middle was a little boring, but I guess a book that was all action all the time would get boring, too, so I don't know. I liked it a lot. Still probably a solid 4 stars.
Ok thanks for your opinions! I'll have to think about it :) Yes, Jenny, I'd love your input too!
