I loved the scenes where Daufin was learning. I thought they came across as very real.

For you non-Texans, regarding the town of Pecos. The gringos pronounce it PAY-KUSS, and the Mexicanos pronounce it PEH-KOSE. That is all.

Those with Hispanic roots pronounce it as it should be as a Spanish word. The non-Hispanic people pronounce it with a lazy Texas accent. I've always found that part of the world, the Mexican borderlands, fascinating. I wonder if the border has become as dangerous as everyone lets on. It seems hard to believe. Such a quiet serene place.
