I recently finished reading Stephen King's Revival while in hospital and I have to admit that even though I usually think this guy can do no wrong I wasn't a huge fan of this one to be honest.
The ending kind of confused me and I felt the way it was written was a bit messy compared to his other books.
Oh well, he can't win them all I guess!

Simone Ramone (simoneramone) | 19 comments I just read A Memory of Violets as well as Parramatta Girls and Look Who's Back; which was about about Hitler waking up in modern Berlin. Pretty ordinary.

Cherryl Northcutt Valdez | 1 comments I recently read, 30 Years of Being Married to a Rolling Stone. I really enjoyed it.

Todd | 24 comments I just finished The Secret History by Donna Tartt. If you liked/loved The Goldfinch you won't be able to put this book down. Tartt's writing is beautiful. I think she is my favorite writer. Ever. She is incredibly talented.

The only thing that makes me sad is that I finished the book. I'm not sure if I'll pick up another for a while, I just need to let this one marinate in my mind for a while.

**sigh** what an excellent book.

Todd | 24 comments I just finished The Lure by Bill Napier. I didn't think I''d like it, as I picked it on a whim but wow, it hooked me!! Very fun read, especially if you like astronomy and the possibility of life living on other planets.

I love it when you find a book like that and it just hooks you in!

I just finished The Farm The Farm by Tom Rob Smith last night and boy that was a bad, bad book in my humble opinion. The writing was shocking and I'm not sure if I hated it as much as I did because I've been reading it during newborn feeding time around 1:30 to 3:30am each morning or whether it really was just a badly written book!

Sharyl wrote: "Ah, Michelle, I hate it when that happens...I've recently finished Life After Life by Kate Atkinson, and enjoyed it very much. It's really different."

I've heard lots of good things about that book Sharyl. I think I really have to check it out one day.
