Haha that doesn't work. He is very active. Always all over the place. I seldom get him to sit still for any amount of time.
Seriously, Melissa, I'm sure you do read to your baby. When my kids were little (I have 5), I began reading to them at 4-5 months old. Sometimes only a minute or so, picture books, one-word pages, etc. but they grow to love it! I miss those days!! Now I have adult children who are pretty avid readers (for the most part).

I just wonder if he would sit still long enough to let me! haha
I do hope he loves reading when he gets older though!!
Hey Vicki did you ever read the book When the Wind Blows by James Patterson? Becuase this is the book that inspired the Maximum ride series. I read When the Wind Blows and I didn't really like it that much, which is weird because I love all James Patterson books!I was just wondering if it is kind of the same as the Maximum Ride series...cause I was thinking about giving that series a shot, but wasn't sure if I would like it because I didn't like the other book.
Melissa, you want colorful books that he can touch like the cardboard type or the plastic type and not paper books to begin with. Trust me he will love it even if you have to have him sit in your lap for just a few seconds at a time at first, eventually he will enjoy it.
Regarding the book you mentioned, no I haven't read that so I can't compare the series but several of us are reading the maximum ride series and we all love it so maybe you want to give it a try.

I really love PLL! It's my favorite series, and I'm so glad I got into reading them. I read 36 pages.
Sarah, I dozed off and when my timer went off I reached over to shut it off as though it were my alarm. LolI got 3 chapters read. How about you?
Wow!!! I'm not telling you how many pages I read! Lol I read 4 chapters though. Thanks! I'm hitting the sack now as it's after midnight.
Haha 4 chapters is like less that 20 pages. Good on you Vicky. Thanks Jessica. But, as I said, it was a children's novel and it had pictures and a large font. XD
I would do a sprint but I'm talking to my friend over email and I should be heading to bed soon. Sorry! Hopefully tomorrow. :)
