Here is where Jacquelyn talked about it: (:
Reading sprints are where you set a certain amount of time out and then you use that time to just READ, READ, READ! Usually these sprints are 10-30 minutes long.
Under this folder I will sometimes ask if anybody is online and would be up to do a reading sprint. I would include all of the information when I ask. I would say when to start, how long it would last, and if there will be a mini reading challenge.
These challenges are simple and fun! For example we could do a challenge like this: While you are reading look out for colors! When done reading, list all of the colors you found. You do not have to participate in these mini challenges but if you desire to you can! :D
Once the reading sprint is done the participants for that sprint can talk about what book they read and how many pages they read!

I have never read any of his books as the hold list is so long at my library. I have heard they are really good. How are you liking it?

Yes, distractions are the worst!!!

Are you up for another sprint tonight?

Hannah, I think it depends on the book. I read some at about half the pace. Either that or they are in smaller type.

you want to do one at :15 for 15?
