literally radio and phone silence for over an hour and less than ten minutes in I had 2 911 calls and several traffic stops go out on the air >_<

I dispatch for a smaller police/fire depts. It's usually pretty dead - I currently only have 5 officers on (two of which are leaving within the hour) and we rarely get fire calls.

Yep. Obviously if the phone rings or someones on the radio thats the priority but I can read or watch netflix or whatever during downtime!
