I heard they were contemplating their navelectomy.
I don't what advice I gave you, Brenda, but don't take it! Even I don't take my advice. I ask my wife what to do, then neglect to tell people it wasn't my own idea.

It was meant in only the most self-deprecating way....
M wrote: "I don't what advice I gave you, Brenda, but don't take it! Even I don't take my advice. I ask my wife what to do, then neglect to tell people it wasn't my own idea."Um, you mean it wasn't your wife's advice? I recant.
Brenda, if you're reading a thread in your emails, then want to post to that one, you click on it in your emails and you should be transported over into the correct thread. I gave up reading the emails, there must be thousands over there by now. I come straight here, look for the red (new) and read something. When I have time, I'll try to read through a new thread. There are now only a couple of threads that I haven't read from beginning to end, but this has taken a while. I'm so glad you've come out of hiding and had a little chat. Do it again soon and good luck with everything you're doing!
Jan keeps me on the straight and narrow. I used to be a roving lad. A roving and wandering life I had.
Jan: Thanks for the advice. I think that's the problem - trying to find something from the email (which is usually 12-24 hours old).
M wrote: "Jan keeps me on the straight and narrow. I used to be a roving lad. A roving and wandering life I had."Jan takes no responsibility for anything written, said or done by the above-mentioned M. Generally incorrigible, he is however trustworthy when there are dragons around as he can be relied on to fend them off. Proof of this dragon-fending talent can be seen in the almost complete absence of dragons in this quarter.
Lions and tigersDragons and bears...
Don't be afraid

What am I to do? My father went to Texas A&MC, my mother to Baylor, my wife to UT. I went and hid until football season was over.

Figments of our collective imaginations are more easily eradicated. And now goodnight, it is time to sleep. Oh no! After midnight! 'Night all.
Good night, sweet Jan! And may flights of sainted grammarians wing you to inspiration for your Weekly Short Story Contest and Company entry.
Hey I am just waking up. Been to the airport this morning dropping off my sirocco on her way to DC . I will miss her.
M wrote: "Now, I make an exception with Baylor Bears . . ."Take my dog with you M...she has an attitude!
She'll mistral back soon, Kitty. M, any chance of rustling a rousing rhyme to cheer Kitty from the doldrums?
Kitty wrote: "A gangster's side kick , usually a woman, in this case it would have to be a man."Thank you for the clarification. :D
Sorry I missed all this....what fun you all have when the cat is.......oh....I mean, when I am asleep! Brenda....I always click on the home tab for group updates and then click on the red bit that tells how many new posts there are....I disabled the emails because they were just too annoying.

hi all, this is the second time I join this group *blushes*, the first time was when I had just joined goodreads and my English was not very good. So...now Im back!By the way, my name is Leo (short for Leonor) and I'm Portuguese and somewhat of a perfectionist, especially in languages, so don't be afraid to tell me if I say something wrong.
And don't anybody give Stray a hard time otherwise I will personally prosecute, slander, annihilate, and otherwise seek to put an end to your miserable existence! M's sword notwithstanding, of course.(It's definitely those lollies....GABIIII!!!!)

GN: To tie into the above, lurking is a way to avoid attention and insure that I don't wind up in an unintentional faux pas. It is fun, though, being out here in the open. I just hope my work starts completing itself.
