Woohoo! Guess what! I figured out how to load a picture. Now all I have to do is figure out how to do it here.

Feed it lots of liquor. Voila! Loaded picture.
And Debs, your chick reading looks less classical than my dude reading, but whatever... it was time for a change.

Note to Susanne:
The guy in the red hat is an 1856 painting by Ferdinand Heilbuth called "The Reader" (of all things).

Ahh... Ahh.. rouragraallaaa... arougraalural
Well.....I like them! And they aren't meant to be sexy Lenore....I am a teacher at work! I guess there lies the difference between 13 and 51....taste in footwear!
hihi.I'm more like 12 cm stilletos type but I like them too.and I have a great taste for fashion, believe me!
Fashion be D... Give me tennis shoes or snow-boots as the season dictates. Stilettos are a definite no no out here in the wilderness.
Where I live, the end of the closest gravel road/parking lot is 60 miles by boat away. No pavement, no sidewalk, no stores. The post office is nearly 30 miles away - also by boat. And this time of year, it might as well be on the moon because the water is too low to drive a boat anywhere - at least for us it is. So, yeah, wilderness.I work in the summer at a fishing lodge and we all have a private snicker when we see someone in designer clothes and high-heeled boots or shoes.
I bet it's better than mud and silty clay. We have grass and a graveled path at the lodge but before anyone get's that far, they have to get out of a float plane and into a boat. Interesting, I'm sure, in heels.

its very beautiful but not for the type of shoes I try to convince my mom to wear..
You say you want to improve your writing in English. Here's your chance. Take me for a stroll down the promenade. See everything for me. I've never been there and may never get the chance so include everything even the weather and . . . well, just everything.
hmm, ok I'll take the challenge.its made of limestone(the white small blocks) and basalt (the black ones) and its got patterns in black and white, some of them very beautiful.its everywhere,( I still laugh when I see tourists admiring the floor) in some places its more colorful but I dont know which stones they use.the people cut the stones in cubes and put them together.sometimes the patterns are waves, sometimes drawings like stars or fish and some things I dont know the name.
Hiya Leonor! nice to meet ya.....I'm the wild Irish lassie here. xj.
Well, Leonor, that's a good start but you were supposed to take me for a walk. Put one foot in front of the other. I don't care what the rocks are - colors will do. And the place simply HAS to have something more than the floor, spectacular as it might be.
Well, I did home schooling for a while but that was years and years ago. I always hated English when I was in school. Now, look at me, I'm an author and I'm still in a tail-spin.
Wasn't interested in history back then either. Me and schooling just didn't hit it off. Had a great teacher once, in history and in algebra <> Other than that I did just well enough to get by. Give me a horse and let me escape PLEASE. I escaped alright. Now I live in Alaska. Horses are far far away. And I escape every chance I can into one story or another. I have a dozen to polish and another couple dozen to work on. Generally something to suit most any mood.
of course it has more but I thod you just wanted me to describe the floor...but if its more that you want me to describe to you, go to the internet because I would write a lot.I'll see if I can find a website
Oh My God! No sunshine. No rain. No wind. No one smiled. No one cried. No one's wearing pink today. SOMTHING must be happening ;)
