Introductions!
Hello, all! My name is J.P. Sloan. I'm two books into an Urban Fantasy series, and I have some independent spec fic projects in-process. I mostly read sci-fi and horror, specifically post-apocalyptic. Not sure why. It... worries me actually. Ignore the canned food and bottled water behind me.

Hey Gareth! Welcome aboard :D Let me know if you need any help with goodreads :3 the site wont win any design awards lol
Hi, thanks for inviting me. I've written a dark fantasy novel - it is still in the editing stage and it might take a while.I am thinking of hiring a professional editor. Hopefully it will work fine.
Hi Everyone, I have just finished and published my first novel. Having sold a few copies I guess that means I can call myself an author although the title doesn't yet sit comfortably! Bill
I hit up some of the other forums and then realized I could probably introduce myself here.I'm Adam...I'm currently working on the ending to the first draft to the sequel of my first book (confused?).
I hate writing endings.
This is giving me the opportunity to procrastinate between sentences.
Thanks for giving me that opportunity.
I must go back and write another four words now.
Hi Bill! I still class myself as a wannabe author! Until I publish I shall only be a humble writer! :D
Hello Adam, glad you introduced yourself :3 (I'm doing the same with editing :x)

Hello everyone! Thanks for invite, Bisky:)
Kate LeDonne aka @originlbookgirl here. I write fiction right now. I am getting ready to release the second edition of my novel, "Nothing in Particular". We just completed a cross country move, so it's been sticky getting everything lined up.
We got the proof back, and the colors aren't quite right, so I had to scrap it and start over. Luckily, the overall design is good. It's tweaking the dang CMYK that's a pain in the tush.
I'm happy to chat about what I've learned so far in my self-publishing adventures. Things change so fast, it seems to change a lot.
Lately, I've been behind on everything, since we're in boxland and transition. Please forgive any tardiness:)

Hello! My name is Paulette and I'm working on a series that's paranormal/fantasy much like Charlaine Harris or Molly Harper. I just published my debut novel, "The Garden of Good and Eden" about two weeks ago. I've already got a short ready to follow and am about 1/3 way through book two. I also have a chick lit contemporary with humor coming soon, too. Thanks for adding me to the group! I need all the advice, help, and dupport I can get from other authors!
Hello and welcome aboard :] Congrats on your published novel. You can always post threads and ask questions here :3
Hi Everyone! Bisky, Thank you for the invitation. IThe only thing I write are reviews here and on my blog but am very glad to be included with so many talented writers. Because reading is my passion I can see that this is a marvelous place to be. :)

Hi everyone.I've attempted one book, it's for children and parents to share together, as that's what me and my little one 'Harry' enjoy. Reading and creating things together. Using are imaginations :)
New to goodreads, but getting into it quick.
David
Thanks guys! Think I cheat though, I just write for me and Harry and hope others may like it or are entertained by it.
writing for yourself I've found is always the best policy, ... I do laugh at my own jokes (grin) to my shame!
I always think, if they aren't funny, why would you tell them? :D I have to edit out my horrible snort laugh from my vlogs if I do somethign I find entertaining :x

Hi ALLRobin Leigh Morgan here.
I'm a retired NY City employee who's been married for almost 20 years with no children. In the past I've written commentaries for a community newspaper. On December 20, 2012 I self-published my first YA Paranormal/Time Travel/First Kiss romance novel entitled "I Kissed a Ghost". I released the KINDLE version on May 12, 2013,
I currently writing an adult Contemporary romance with a still untitled paranormal element running through parts of the storyline. This is actually something I began to write years ago while I was still working but never seemed to sense it was never any good. Someone suggested I should try to write for a younger audience. I did and the rest is history.
Bisky wrote: "Hello, its Bisky. I'm writing an Urban Fantasy novel called A Dance With Fury. What about you?"I am trying to write a poetry anthology. I really enjoy poetry and feel drawn to write (and rewrite). I hope to create something that speaks to others the way it speaks to me.
I'm working on a Fantasy novel. Unfortunately I have no name for it yet, and I am stuck with how to deal with my villain. I have a few ideas. I need to let them stew a little.
'Allo, Bisky! You know me from Twitter as @Clarketacular, but I'm J. David Clarke, I've written one collection of short stories called THE RUBBERBAND MAN AND OTHER STORIES and one sci-fi novel called MISSING TIME. Currently working on Vol. 2 in the series, TIME SPENT (due for release in October), as well as a couple of other projects!
Hi, group! I must have missed this thread somewhere along the line. My name is Jaeme and I write mystery, thrillers, adventure and (wait for it) travelogs {think Charles Kuralt}. I published "Groundfog" in January of 2013, and "Carolina Blue" in May-ish of this year. Working on another adventure novel involving lost Spanish gold. I think it's a bit different in that I am writing two storylines, with two sets of characters set in two different centuries. It's more fun than it sounds.
Hi I'm Giulia. I dabble in writing. Just finished up a short story I'm thinking of expanding into a novel length. I've been writing on and off since I was little and am taking it more seriously now.
I'm Ren and I'm a contemporary romance author. I just self-published my first novel. I look forward to getting to know how other authors' minds tick. :)
