Hey everyone! Bisky, thanks for the invite. I'm actually really excited about joining this group. Lots of great discussions going on. I've always loved writing, and though I've been doing it for a long time, I just began taking it a bit more seriously. I used to do a lot of political poetry pieces (in Spanish mind you, I'm originally from Venezuela). Now I'm dabbling in science fiction and YA fantasy. Currently working on a serialized collection of short sci-fi stories. I'm trying to combine gladiatorial concepts and ancient Roman traditions in a futuristic environment where an advanced species of humans control earth.

Hello, and thanks for inviting me! My name is Michael, and I have one published novel called Lost on the Edge of Forever, a ghost-spiritual love story inspired heavily by Japanese ghost stories such as Tales of Moonlight and Rain (the book's as old as the USA, yet still packs a punch!)I'm currently over my head with marketing which isn't exactly my favorite part of the creative process, all the while trying to find time to start another novel about a blossoming serial killer, the Apocalypse, and the strange manner in which the two are related to each other. So from a new adult romance to a violent end of the world novel - I have no desire to write the same story (or genre) twice!
So, that's me in a nutshell (I'll leave you to imagine the Austin Powers joke if you're in the mood to groan.) It's wonderful to meet you all!
Hello Bisky, and thank you for the invitation! I'm Natasha, I wrote a romance novella, Butterfly Season which will be released on March 20. This is my first book.I love fantasy and dystopian novels, and I will, one day, write my own epic fantasy novel. Until then, I'm brooding over having to wait indefinitely for the next instalment in the GoT series. :(

Hello everyone! I am a YA writer about to begin the long road to being published. I write mostly novels, but occasionally end up with a short story or two. Poetry intimidates me. I do NOT like romantic movies or books and crying makes me angry (yes, there is a small chunk of ice where my heart should be). My current WIP is a sci-fi/fantasy piece but I also enjoy writing horror. I look forward to meeting everyone and reading your work!

Bonjour tout le monde!I'm Andrew, and I write all sorts of stuff. A lot of short fiction, but also the odd bit of freelance journalism, and most recently a novel length translation of an 18th Century French book by none other than Casanova.
I wander around promoting my books in a very desultory fashion, but I always feel a bit tawdry about it, so it's nice to join a group where I'm not allowed to promote a darn thing and can just talk about writing and things. Hurrah!

Howdy one and all. I've been a member here for some time, but only now do I find myself with enough time on my hands to actually get involved on Goodreads again and say hello, whilst waving at you all in a slightly half-hearted, embarrassed fashion. I write fantasy: ghost stories mainly, btw, and must say, it's really nice to be part of a group that doesn't want authors to promote. Self-promotion is so exhausting, dahling. :)

My name is Marissa and I am currently writing a series called The Pull, the first novel is out and the second novel is due to be released. My series is a paranormal mystery/thriller with a twist. I love to read (what writer doesn’t?) I can't get enough of reading fiction of all genre's. I also like providing reviews because it generally leads to discussion of books... and talking about stories I've read is almost as much of a high as reading!
