My library has it under horror, and on the fine print copyright at the beginning it is under horror stories as a topic

I would assume the book is shelved under horror because it has vampires in it and is somewhat Gothic in tone. But, at its heart, it's a YA paranormal romance novel.

The problem is that many genres overlap each other and this makes it very difficult to shelf, especially if you have a book that covers a range of genres.
