He cracked his neck before shaking his head. "No. I'm not." He gave her an evil grin before he stalked off once more.

Ty groaned. Ugh. She blew it again. He rested her head against the tree and closed her eyes, contemplating the idea of actually being nice to him.
He came back soon after, with a maniac-like grin pulled across his face. He flicked the dart in his fingers. "Surprise! Look familiar?"
Ty flinched, drawing back as far as she could. "Please don't." She said calmly, trying to bite back the urge to snap at him.
"Yeah. Well I was unconscious, so how should I know how long it lasts?" She replied, an edge to her voice as if pointing out the obvious. ((Well you're replying fast today. Sorry if I don't. I'm in school & on my phone. Goodreads finally works on my phone without internet! :D ))
((WITHOUT internet? o.O You have some alien tech there or something?))He seemed to appraise her for a moment. "True and fair enough. But I'm keeping my promise anyway." And without another word, he jabbed the dart into her.
((No. My dad did something to my phone so I need internet to go on safari and apps requiring wifi and whatnot. It's really frustrating. ))Ty flinched as the needle pricked her skin. Her eyes felt heavy. She let them close and her head lolled o the side.
((But you said you don't need internet for GR...))Arthur quickly untied her, catching her limp body in his arms. He gently set her down on the log he had brought, and tied her to it instead.
((I don't know. It's weird. I don't need the wifi for goodreads anymore now, though.))Ty groaned lightly before fully slipping into unconsciousness.
Ty blinked and tried to sit up, but was pulled back by... more ropes? she shook her head in dismay to find she was still stuck,But to a different place.
They were already moving through the jungle. Arthur had ordered two men t carry her and the log while he took the lead.
"Oh," he paused for a moment, hesitating. He then spread out his hands and did a sprinkling gesture as he moved his hands in a circular motion. "The mysterious forest!"
Ty glare out of him from one eye, trying to suppress her laughter. "Well can you let me down?" She asked.
"And let you rot to death, or hopefully blessed with a man-eating tiger?" he asked with an arched brow.
"I'm serious. I promise I won't give you any problems, or at least as we're travelling. I just really hate doing nothing. Please?" Ty batted her eyelashes innocently.
"And how can I trust you?" he asked, his gaze searching. "How would I know you would keep to your promise?"
"I always keep my promises." Ty sighed, exasperated. "Besides, you and your men should be able to keep a child under control, correct?"
Some of his men glared at her, but Arthur simply looked thoughtful. "Fine. But I'll have to keep you within an arms length from me. Deal?"
Ty waited until they set her down, then jumped up quickly, her hands instinctively flying to her sore arms, rubbing them. "Thank you." She said, looking at the men, then directed her gaze to Arthur. "It was about time." She added accusingly.
((Yeah sry they didn't send me notifs))"Yes, it probably is," he said with slight amusement. "Now, I expect you to keep to your promise?" He arched an expectant brow. He was already flicking another dart in his fingers in case the need to use it arises.
"You don't see me running now, do you?" She asked sarcastically, raising her hands, palms up, to her shoulders in mock surrender.
"I promised I wouldn't as long as we're still traveling. Now shush please."((Goodnight. North but I'm getting off. I'll be on in another 2.5-3hrs)
((Ugh sorry. I had to get up early today and decided to go to sleep early. I normally don't sleep til 4ish but I went to sleep a few hrs early. Sorry))"No? I just said 'shush'. And I said 'please', too." She replied, staring straight ahead.
Arthur went and stood in front of her, forcing her to stop least he bump into him. "It holds the same meaning."
Ty sighed. She really wanted to snap at him, but she wanted to stay "free" more. Her eyes met his as she said, "Okay. I'm sorry if you think I was being disrespectful. Thank you for untying me."
"Much better," he said before nudging her to go in front of him. "Now walk in front of me so that I can keep an eye on your little behind."
((Maybe they find something(s) that leads then a step closer to the treasure? A map? Hint? Both? Neither? *shrugs* I dunno ))
((I'm sorry I don't know. I'm not very creative. If you don't like the ideas above you can give me some of yours))
