Richie walked down the path and got into the car. Then he drove home, with Izzy cackling madly over the kiss.

When Richie got home and was in his room, he texted Poppy: great kiss :D.

Richie laughed when he received Poppy's text. Night, he replied with a smile on his face.

Sure : ), Richie replied. He put his phone on the table and fell asleep.

Richie woke up to his sister pounding on the door, saying she needed a ride. He groaned and waited in the car in his pajamas while Izzy got ready.

Richie drove his sister to her destination and then he spotted Tom approaching him angrily. Richie frowned.

"Uh, I don't know. Probably. Why do you ask?" Richie said.

"And why would you do that?" Richie asked. "C'mon, man. Don't you want her to be happy?"

"She's not going to listen to you," Richie said flatly.

"Because I, unlike you, am a very intelligent person," Richie said with a smirk.

"I just do," Richie said. "I know what she wants."

"You do that," Richie said with a smirk.

"Oh, nothing," Richie said, still smirking. "Have fun."

Richie shook his head and got into the car. He called Poppy.

"Hey… you should expect a visit from Tom," Richie warned, amused.

"He wants to stop you from dumping him," Richie said, turning on the radio.

"Well, what's that mean?" Richie asked.

"Er… I don't know. Are you?" Richie asked.

"Yes? No? I don't know, I'm not a mindreader," Richie said.

"Ah, very clever," Richie said with a grin.

"I, er, bumped into him," Richie said awkwardly.

"Izzy needed a ride. I owe her, so this is how I'm paying her back," Richie said.

"She beat me at cards a couple weeks ago. We were betting," Richie explained.

"It's not funny," Richie said, though he was laughing too.

"Aw, whatever. Can I call you back? I'm gonna head back home," Richie said, putting on his seatbelt.

"Talk to you later," Richie said. He started the car.

Richie hung up and drove home. After he showered up and dressed properly for the day, he drove to Poppy's house.

"Oh," Richie said with a dramatic sigh as he got out of the car. "You're still here. It's been like what, four hours?" Richie laughed. "Desperate much?"

"Ah… wherever she… went," Richie said, grinning.

"Mean? I don't mean anything," Richie said in an amused tone.

"Why can't you tell her?" Richie shot back.

"Okay, Mr. Important," Richie said in a mock serious tone.

Richie grinned. "Have fun, kiddo."

Richie smirked and walked up to the door, knocking.

Richie took out his phone and called Poppy. "Are you… ignoring me?" he asked dramatically.

"I think I chased him off," Richie said.

"Just a few minutes ago," Richie said.

"'Cause I like hearing your voice…?" Richie laughed.

"Yeah," Richie said.

"Alright," Richie said.

"Hello," Richie said with a grin.

"May I come in or are you going to make me stand here for the whole visit?" Richie said with a smile.

Richie sat on the couch. "Are you just gonna keep avoiding Tom?"

"Face him," Richie said. "Tell him what you want."

Richie shrugged. "You just have to make him accept it."

"Okay." Richie stood up. "You got cereal? I'm starving."

"Nice," Richie said. "Where are your parents?"

"Ah," Richie said getting the milk.
