Isis Got anything?

message 7: by Invisible (new)

Invisible ~Does Anybody See Me?~ | 29 comments Um, kinda. I have a few ideas, but I'm not gonna go into specifics unless we pick one of them.

So, choice 1.
Girl A runs away from home. When she's wandering alone in the wilderness, Girl B finds her and takes her into her hands (she's the leader of some runaway group or something). At first they work together strictly as partners, trying to bring in food and money to the younger orphans and/or runaways, but things start to take off from there.

Choice 2.
It's, like, the 1700's or something and these two girls meet at a masquerade in their homecountry (I'm thinking France). They have to be all top-secret with their relationship together though, or be hung if caught.

Choice 3.
The typical mother/daughter or sister/sister or even teacher/student. Only with a twist of some sort that I haven't thought up yet.

I dunno. I think I overthought the whole thing, and the plots are rather lame. xD But if you like it, we can do it! Also, I want to hear your ideas!

message 8: by Isis (new)

Invisible ~Does Anybody See Me?~ | 29 comments Lane stared herself down with her cold, pale blue eyes, searching for them for any emotion in the small cracked mirror, one of the few luxuries the brunette allowed herself to have. As normal, nothing could be seen, and Lane decided that it was safe to go out. Giving her outfit one last lookover before her departure, Lane slipped on her black work boots over the leggings, messing with her mint green shirt so that it just covered her ass. She was working today, and needed to blend in. Rolling her shoulders back, the rugged girl thre open the scratched wooden door and scrambled down the staircase, skipping every other step. The others were still asleep, and the warehouse was quiet, peaceful. The hustle and bustle of the day hadn't begun yet, and the moon was still perched above the horizon.
"Alpha? Where are you off too?" The masculine voice from behind cracked, and a curse of swear words slipped out. Lane smiled and turned to face the lanky kid behind her. "Out to work like I do every morning," Lane laughed softly, the extremely messy bun atop her head. She had almost forgotten. "You're in charge until I get back," she ordered, and the scraggly blonde instantly stiffened responsibly. "Yes ma'am," he saluted, and once again, Lane laughed, patting him on the shoulder. "Do good, Turtle. I'll be back before sunrise." And with that, The girl shrugged on her green military jacket and whisked through the doors, like a leaf on a cool autumn breeze.

message 18: by Isis (new)

Isis Dixie held back the gasp, or possibly the scream, that wanted to come out when she stepped on a squeaky floor board, then she waited for maybe as much as a minute. When she was sure no one had heard it, despite it being as loud a trumpeting elephant, she continued to move down the hall. Her bag was clutched to her chest and she was trying hard to avoid any and all places she knew would make a creak or a squeak or scratch. She wanted to move with her back against the wall so she could melt into it and disappear but she knew that was dangerous. Scraping along the wall would be loud and more stupid in the end then just tiptoeing through the center of the hall. She had been breathing quietly despite her fast beating heart and the air in her lungs wanting to come out in loud puffs, but now she held it. She held her breath until she had passed her parents bedroom all the way to the end of the hall and then out the door. She let out as soon as she had stepped outside but even then she was scared out of her mind. If her parents had heard her last few steps even that would be enough to catch her and put her back and she just couldn't handle that. She couldn't handle one more rough hand being laid on her or one more ugly word being thrown her way, but most of all she couldn't handle laying on her bed while her father had his way and she was left to cry and stare at the purple wall paper. This was it. She was done. She carefully shut the front door, took a breath, then took off running as fast as she possibly could. Her bag was kept close to her chest as it held some clothes and a few things dear to her heart. It held everything that she had left now.

Invisible ~Does Anybody See Me?~ | 29 comments Lane jogged softly through alleys, weaving between junk cars and unconcious drunks, searching each ones pockets. She rarely found anything good with this kind of people, but who knew? Maybe bastards like these would actually carry something valuable. Not finding anything except two full whiskey bottles and a pocket knife, Lane continued on her way to the city, almost like a shadow on the wind. Her heart beat in rythm with her sofft footsteps, but the magic that had once come from doing something good was gone now.
When Lane had first joined the crew, when she was seven, it had seemed so perfect, when the ragged group of kids had taken her in as one of their own and taught her how to fend for herself. But now?
Lane sighed softly, not even breathing hard as she slowed to a walk just near the edge of eighth street.

message 20: by Isis (new)

Isis As Dixie rounded the corner of eighth street she collided full frontal with someone and went sprawling to the ground. Her head hit the pavement a little bit and she saw little black splotches in front of her eyes for a few seconds. She blinked a couple of times then looked up to see who she had smacked into. It was a another girl. A girl with a green military jacket on and a messy bun on her head. "I'm sorry," Dixie said quickly as she scrambled up onto her feet. "I should have been paying attention, I just, I...please don't tell anyone you saw me." She knew there would be panic in her eyes but she didn't have time to get herself under control at the moment. She wasn't far enough away from her house yet and she had to keep running. She had no idea where she would run, but she just had to keep going.

message 21: by Invisible (new)

Invisible ~Does Anybody See Me?~ | 29 comments "Hey, chill, it's alright," Lane cooed, stumbling backwards a few steps, but she wasn't the same weak girl she'd once been. "What's your name, kid?" she asked, pale eyes practically glowing in the streetlight. Lane peered closer at the girl, approaching her. Was she alright? There was something up with the look in those green eyes....

message 22: by Isis (new)

Isis Dixie looked back at this girl mistrustfully "It doesn't matter, just pleas please forget you saw me if anyone asks you. I can't go back." She glanced around and listened for a second before she took off in a quick walk away from the girl. She didn't know why this girl was so interested in her name or why she bothered to say it was alright. It wasn't like she knew. Dixie did, on the other hand, notice that she had chills and they weren't from fear. Those girl's eyes were absolutely stunning...

message 23: by Invisible (new)

Invisible ~Does Anybody See Me?~ | 29 comments "Hey," Lane hissed, voice soft as she reached after and grabbed the girl on the arm. "Follow me. I know a good place for you." Lane knew how bad it sounded. She didn't even know this girl, but here she was, giving her the chance of a lifetime. "You have to trust me," she added, practically begging the pretty girl to come with.
