Of Poseidon is about Syrena which are technically mer people. The main character Emma has somehow gotten tangled op with the Triton prince. It's a very funny and well consecptualized book. I own it and it's sequel.

Ummmm, I had to read Silas Marner for school and I hated it. I never finished the Matched trilogy and I love the Hunger Games but I hated Mockingjay. To name a few.What about you?
I know what you mean. I also had to read some awful books for school -.-I can't really put a finger on it but most of our german books are crappy so i stick to the english books. I don't like the books from Stephen King.
I haven't read the 3th part yet but a friend of mine also said that it's a disappointing end.
Oh, you're German? that's very interesting. I read the Ruby Red trilogy and after I did goodreads begna suggesting a lot of German books to me. I couldn't even read what they were about cause none of them were translated, lol.

I never searched for a german book here so i wasn't so sure if goodreads was capable to find german books.
It's actually not that bad.My dad's side of the family has some German.
And yes, goodreads appears to have quite a few German books.

It's possible but if I do I wouldn't even know how to go about finding them. I would like to visit Germany someday though.
Aww :/I'm kind of have the same problem. A brother from my grandma moved 30 years ago to england. But they haven't keep in touch so i'll never know if i have family there.
