Has anyone checked out The Rook by Daniel O'Malley? It's not really a superhero book, but it's a book about people with powers, so I think it still fits.

It was an interesting story, but the author uses too much narration to tell back history and I think it bogs down the story.

Has anyone else heard of or read this series?
