She chuckled. "You're really sweet today, is that because I was stabbed or is your heart just overflowing with love?" she teased.

"I'm not sure. Most likely a combination of the two." he answered.
"How can you reply with that face, really, what are your tricks?" she chuckled.
"My tricks. I have no tricks." Phoenix said.
"You do, obviously. How can you keep a straight face all the time?" she asked.
"Practice." he answered. "371 years on earth will do that to ya."
She laughed. "I guess it will."
"Teach you what? You're confusing me, woman." Phoenix said.
"To keep a straight face!" She grinned.
"Nope." he said, enjoying this completely.
((Other one?))"No." he said, his lips finally twitching upwards.
"What are you smiling about?" she glared playfully at him. "Are you laughing at me?"
"No. I'm not laughing at you." he said.
She narrowed her eyes at him. "I don't believe you."
"Good? Ugh, you're mean," she glared at him.
"No, I'm not." he said. Phoenix walked over and sat beside her on the bed.
She wrapped her arms around his neck. "Prove it."
Phoenix snaked his arms around her waist and put his forehead on her's. "How?"
"I don't know. You're the creative one," she told him.
"Creative? Where did that one come from? I am, in no way, creative." he said.
"Well, Ari then?" She chuckled.
"Better." he said. Phoenix kissed her jaw.
She smiled as he did and closed her eyes with a happy sigh. ((Happy new year!))
((Happy New Year to you too!!))He trailed his lips down to her neck, grazing it with his teeth.
((Thanks :D))She groaned softly, grasping his hair in her hands.
Phoenix chuckled and kissed her deeply.
She kissed him back hungrily, loving the feeling of his lips against hers.
Phoenix threaded his fingers in her hair, gripping it lightly.
"Phoenix," she mumbled softly, her hands fluttering down his shoulders.
Phoenix pulled back and brushed his nose against her's. "Hmm?"
"I love you," she smiled happily at him, nuzzling his nose back.
"I love you too." Phoenix said, smiling softly at her.
She pecked his smile happily and then pulled away. "Lay with me? You need to sleep anyways.'
"Fine." Phoenix said, lying down and taking her with him.
She snuggled against his body, resting her head against his shoulder and pulling the covers over them. "Yay," she yawned softly.
Phoenix started to thread his fingers through her hair.
She smiled, liking the feeling. She curled closer to him, closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep.
Phoenix fell asleep after her. ((Skip?))
((Yup!))Rose woke up, groaning softly. Her side did hurt, just not as bad as before. She slowly opened her eyes and chuckled at Phoenix's sleeping face.
Phoenix shifted pulling her closer as he slept.
She smiled and nuzzled his nose, skimming her lips over his jaw. "Phoenix," she mumbled softly.
She chuckled at his smile. "You had a nice dream, birdie?" She teased.
Phoenix made a face and pinched her.
She grinned and then squealed as he pinched her. "Ugh, don't grab me with your claws," she teased.
