She saw black spots dance in front of her eyes and she felt herself slip away into darkness. "Phoenix?" she breathed out softly.

Phoenix finished undoing the straps on her wrists. "I'm here." he murmured. "I don't know how to get you home." Phoenix said, more to himself than to her.
"Home? I was kinda sure that I don't belong in your home," she muttered, her eyes closing on their own accords.
"No, I won't." Phoenix muttered. He ground his teeth together as he pulled out his wings. "God, this hurts."
"Tell me about it," she muttered softly, sarcastically. She wanted to sleep, but at the same time, she wanted to stay awake. "The bond was already broken before you came here, Phoenix."
She opened her eyes, using the last strength she had. "You made it very clear to me on that night," she stared in his eyes. "So I don't really understand why you would come. Why you would care. After all, when I would be locked up in this pretty palace, you could go back to heaven, where you want to be."
Phoenix sighed. "I am not leaving you here in this palace or here on earth. I'm not going anywhere. Rose, I refuse to lose you by someone else or my leaving."
Was she hallucinating? That had to be it, it had to be the blood loss. She let go off his hand and closed her eyes again. "I'm crazy," she breathed out softlt before passing out.
Phoenix stumbled as he hit the ground. "Ari!" he called. "Help me." Ari came running out. She winced at the blood seeping through Rose's shirt. "Take her inside and set her on the couch." she said.
Ari looked over at her. "I know, Rose." she muttered. "Phoenix...knock her out. The sewing will not be pleasant." Phoenix nodded, quickly blacking her out.
"You know me so well,"she grinned teasingly at him. She shook her head and hugged the blankets closer to her. "I wanted to ask you something."
"You know it's not what I want," she told him, biting her lip hard. Tears were trying to overwhelm her again. "I can't be with someone who will leave me anyway."
"I'm not leaving you!" Phoenix exclaimed, throwing his hands up. "Dammit, Rose. I am not going to leave you. I may want heaven but I want you more."
"No, I'm not." he said. Phoenix sighed and walked over to her. He sat beside her, gently putting his forehead against her's. "I love you. If any one thing was going to keep me on earth, it's you."
Rose watched him as he pressed her forehead to hers. She closed her eyes. "I love you too. I... I'm glad," she breathed out softly, feeling utterly relieved.
She groaned and shook her head. "No I don't," she grumbled. ((I have your profile picture as a poster! :D))
Phoenix chuckled. "If she was the one to have me bring you up here solely to rest, than yes. She will."
