"I just don't get it. Do you know how I feel?" She asked him, feeling hurt. "You don't care about my feelings. You're losing me, but you're not doing anything about it. And you don't want to talk about that? You don't have to leave me Phoenix. You want to go back to heaven rather than staying here with me," she turned around, biting her lip hard. "Do you know how that makes me feel?" She said quietly, casting her eyes downwards. She didn't want to face him.

Phoenix looked at her for a moment. "Rose, I can't do anything to keep you. There's nothing I can do and it's killing me." Phoenix shook his head. "I want you with me. Always. I hurt me to let you leave, it would hurt me even more for me leave you voluntarily. I'm sorry if I'm hurting you. I truly am." he said, a deep frown formed on his face.
"It would hurt you? Phoenix, you are the one choosing to leave. I'm not making you choose between me and your home. I don't want to do that. And it doesn't matter, I already know your choice," she said softly, glancing at him. "I need some air," she added quietly, leaving through the backdoor and going outside.
"Rose.." he started to say but she was already out the door. Phoenix groaned and ran a hand through his hair. He turned back to the pasta, taking it to the sink and draining it. He sighed and leaned against the counter.
Rose sat on the porch, resting her elbows on her knees and her chin on her hands. She didn't want Phoenix to go back to heaven, but the fact that he wanted to go back instead of staying with her hurt her more than anything. She bit her lip and wrapped her arms around her own waist instead, not knowing what to do.
Phoenix went and fetched Ari for dinner than went to go get Rose. Phoenix walked onto the porch and sat beside her. He sat there for a moment and stared into space. "Dinner's ready if you want it." he said quietly before standing and going back inside.
Rose glanced at Phoenix as he sat next to her, and she gnawed on her cheek, stating silent. She didn't know what to say to him. "Alright," she said softly, not watching him leave. She wasn't really hungry though.
Ari stood in the dining room as Phoenix came in, a deep frown still on his face. "What's wrong? And where's Rose?" she asked crossing her arms and leaning against the wall. Phoenix stopped walking and scowled at the ceiling. "She's outside." he answered before walking again. He went upstairs to his room and shut the door behind him. Life just wasn't fair to him anymore.
Rose didn't really see a point in staying when they were like this, so she decided she'd leave. She only had until morning anyway. She would say goodbye of course, to Ari, at least. She got up and walked inside, looking for Ari. "Ari?"
"Yeah," she said softly. She sighed and hugged her. "I'll miss you. I see what I can do about getting back," she said softly, though it felt like it was no use.
Ari hugged her back for a moment. "I'll miss you too. Bye." she said softly, pulling away. Phoenix watched from the top of the stairs. He should've known she wasn't going to stay. It doesn't work out that way, does it?
Rose bit her lip, not knowing if she was supposed to go to Phoenix. What did it even matter? She let out a soft sigh. "Bye, Ari," dhe said softly, takibg her jacket and walking out.
Callum nodded. He noticed that one side of her shirt was up slightly and something was peaking out. ((I sound like a pervert..)) His eyes narrowed. "What's that on your side?"
((Lol!))"Um.. um.." she trailed off, biting her lips. Sh blushed furiously. God, she was a terrible liar. "It's just a tattoo," she lied.
((It's true!))Callum nodded slowly, a frown on his face. "Of what, if you don't mind me asking." he said.
"Mmm. Where'd you get it, because I know there aren't any tattoo parlours in this town or in the next one." Callum demanded. If this had anything to do with her boyfriend... he would not live long. Rose was his, not someone elses.
"I... I..." she tried to come up with something, but she couldn't. To be honest, she had no clue on what to tell him.
Rose hesitated, but he was already seeing through all her lies. "Yes, it's a bond," she said slowly.
"That's what I thought." he said. Callum sighed and jerked his head in her direction. "Please don't struggle. It'll only be worse for you."
Rose took a step back at his words. "What are you doing?" she asked breathlessly, fear starting to trickle in.
Guards came up behind her and grabbed her. "We're fixing the problem. More acurrately the bond is going to be removed." he said.
"Yes, in fact, I can." Callum said. ((When does Phoenix and/or Ari come in? I hate being a jerk. Lol))
((When he stabs her. Phoenix feels it and immediately flies over?))"No. I'm still the princess and you can't make decisions for me," she snapped, fear leaking into her voice anyway.
"Watch me." he said. Callum flicked his fingers and the guards start to drag her away. ((Good idea!))
Rose gasped and tried to move out of their grips. "No, let me go! You can't do this!" she tried desperately to reason with them.((*bows* thank you ^^ lol))
The guards gripped her harder, Callum following behind her. They took her into a room and out her on a table, much like the Elder's. Callum strapped her down and got a knife.
"What the hell?" she gasped, struggling as they strapped her to a table. She then saw the knife and dread filled her. "Stay away from me!"
Callum lifted her shirt up enough to see the bond and started to drag the knife across her skin. Phoenix gasped in pain at something on his side. He looked down. Nothing was there..."Rose." he gasped and ran out his front door.
Rose yelped in pain, tears filling her eyes. "S-Stop!" she gasped. God, it hurt. It wasn't even a cut, it was so much more, it hurt ten times as bad,
Callum just continued on, not caring for her cries. Phoenix tired flying but the pain was too much. He gasped and held his side. He started to run to the castle. He ran past all the guards, not caring that they yelled at him. Phoenix stopped in front of the locked door guarding the room she was in.
Rose shut her eyes tightly in pain, but tears continued to trickle down her cheeks. "Phoenix," she gasped softly.
Callum stopped and looked at her. "What did you say?" he demanded.Phoenix barreled his shoulder into the door. It's lock easily giving. He groaned in pain, falling on his knees to the floor.
Callum grabbed her chin, turning her head to look at him. "What did you say?" he demanded again.Phoenix stood and did it again, the door flinging open.
Callum looked at the doorway and sighed. "Let me guess, the other half of your bond?"Phoenix ignored him. "I'm gonna kill you." he said to Callum.
Rose eyes were half closed. "No, he's my father you idiot," she joked weakly, slumping bsck. She was losing blood, fast.
