ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments Hello there.

Any likes/dislikes or mild ideas?

I'm open for a lot of things, really. I'm not particularly fond of something mundane that will revolve solely around a romance, like a high school couple set in the real world. That just bores me, it's been done too many times. But I suppose that's not a problem here because you don't want high school either :3
I like dystopia, supernatural but not extravagantly so, fantasy, sci-fi-fantasy...
I enjoy making up our own world and the setting the plot into it.

How bout you?

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments If you'd rather no romance at all, say the word and I'd be happy to grant it. :P
Anyhoodle, I propose we do something dystopic alongside a revolution brewing under the radar?

What do you say? It's brief, but has potential?

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments I have to point out that it hasn't even been 10 minutes and we've got 10 views...

I like that idea. Would the revolutionaries be rightly angry at the enemy (the government?) or would they be the side that needs to be squashed before they wreak their evil in the world? Would it be set in a realistic yet futuristic world? So, like, somewhere in North America? Maybe what used to be America?

And I'm fine with a little romance, but I like it when it develops slowly because the characters forge a bond through shared experiences, etc, etc, not just I really really like him because just because and I can't explain why there's just something about him and I'm gonna kill myself if he doesn't like me back
Maybe we could have it so our characters (two of em, anyway) hate each other in the beginning and clash over everything but are forced to work together, and they end up falling for each other.

We're popular, yeah? XD

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments Hm, you've just made things interesting. I never thought about a revolution having to be annihilated due to the monstrosity it could become. I think we should have it like that, it's different - I like it.

I believe we should have it placed in what used to be America. Perhaps pollution took its toll and things just blew up and ever since, the government has tried desperately hard to preserve the little green life they have left. They've built big domes and everything, just so that none of the population is affected by the horrid conditions outside of the world they've set.

But yes, there should be two whom hate each other and always fight and through collaboration, they fall for each other.

I also had a small plot twist brewing. What if the revolution actually is for the best but our characters don't think so? They've been completely brain washed and so we'd actually be trying to stop others from making things a better place but our characters can't understand that? I don't know how to explain it...it's pretty much them believing that how the world is right now is for the better and - am I making any sense?

I think you forgot to mention. Oh man I'm a really really shy person but I'm gonna go and party all night long with this guy because I love him even if it's not in my nature. -.- I think that gets me every time, when characters don't act rationally just to fit in with the other.

And yes, yes we're popular. :P

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

We'll go with that, except I like your modification even more. Brainwashed characters are fun to play :P even if they make me want to punch something or perhaps strangle them. Or we could have it so neither side is completely right, neither side is completely wrong. No one is all good or all bad in real life either, so why should they be in our RP? How about in its attempt to keep everyone alive and being back some green into the dying world, the current government is being too harsh and somewhat ruthless in that their unofficial motto has become 'The End Justifies the Means'? So they'd be working towards the good of their country, but doing not-so-good things along the way.

And definitely, that totally bugs me to no end. People don't change that easily in reality, so I don't see why authors sometimes make their characters just magically conform to each other.

Lol, yes we are :3

Oh! Instead of doing both brainwashed characters (we're talking here about the two main ones, yeah? The first ones we do?), we could do one that comes from the brainwashed side and one from the revolutionary side. P

Random letter P at the end....grrr I apologize for the typo. Anyway, I think we should clear it beforehand: are you okay with cussing? If so, to what level?

message 10: by ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ (last edited Aug 18, 2013 09:41AM) (new)

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments Yes. I agree with everything, haha. Though I have to ask: What would the revolution be fighting for exactly?

I thought about that, the whole two side thing. I'm thinking that we should do exactly that. We'd each have a character from both sides, correct?

I'm a-okay with cussing. Personally, I don't cuss that much (unless ass is a curse?) but my it's not uncommon for my characters to curse like sailors, so feel free and go crazy. :P

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmmm...they probably disagree with "the end justifies the means" mentality and the ruthlessness of the current government. Maybe they have a different idea for how to get the country back into working order, and they think the current government is just harming the country in their attempt. Also, you know, power.

Yeah, I think so. Doubles, right? And we could make a few more as the need arises.

Exactly. I don't cuss either myself, except for 'hell', which is part of my everyday vocab. But my characters do XD

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments Sounds good to me.

Of course! :]

Bahaha, yeah. I said bastard sometimes as well, but I don't consider that a bad word...I simply call myself a bastard, not someone else, haha.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Shall we get on to characters, then? And we should probably decide on names, for the country, the government, the revolution, etc.

Oh, I curse under my breath or in front of my friends every now and then, just not regularly :P

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments Yep, if we're doing doubles, which characters do you want where? Gender wise. Well, if it's America...wouldn't it be America? And what do you mean a name for the government? You mean like, pseudonyms?

Ah, we all do that! :P

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Eh, I don't really care either which way, but I guess...guy on the side of the current government, girl with the revolution? Just picking randomly here, tbh with you. But yeah, America could be America still, I'm just thinking, what if the revolution side has already one a small percent of America's land and so it's under their control? And they're trying to expand?

True dat ^^

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments Okay, whatever you want. And that sounds alright to me. Maybe the Southern sound of America (used to be Texas/Florida kind of South) is weaker so they're trying to work their way up North?

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay, great. And that works. Should we just call them the South and the North? Or something more creative?

ℙ. ♈ɪℊℊᴇʀ | 84 comments South and North I think sounds pretty good to me. If we want unique terminology we can bend over backwards trying to think of some but personally, I'm lazy. So it's up to you.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Meh, I'm lazy too...South and North work perfectly fine.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

You still want to do this? It's fine if not ^.^
