Cecil meaning blind, Aidan meaning fire, and Montgomery meaning from the rich man's mountain.

Godly Parent: Hestia, who for some reason seems much colder to Cecil than she is to others.
Mortal parent Carlos Montgomery, a past newspaper reporter and current radio show host.
Years at Camp: He's known he was a demigod for much longer, but he has been at camp for three years. Altogether he has been there for nine years.
Preferred Weapon: Due to his...abnormality, Cecil needed to find a weapon that was easy to use. He fashioned it himself with the help of his then-best friend to tell him if he was doing anything wrong. It's basically a wooden sword, with a sharp edge on one end and a nice strong place to hold on the other, and there's a sensor that tells you where your enemy is and vibrates when it's in the right place to get the enemy. A nice mix of technology and traditional weaponry. The one drawback is that it doesn't have a mortal form, but as it's wooden and Cecil barely leaves camp anyway, it can pass off as a toy sword. Apparently they're all the rage in San Francisco now...as though those San Francisco morons, sorry Romans, have a brain to use them correctly.
Appearance: To be honest, Cecil just looks like any normal teenager, what with his often untidy brown hair and pale (obviously from a cold country) complexion. The only thing that separates him from other, 'normal' teenagers is his eyes, which are the colour of flickering flames. He's not very proud of his eyes, which reflect his birthplace, so he often wears a pair of mirrored sunglasses. He is convinced that he’s vertically challenged, standing only at a meager height of 5 foot 1, which also made him stand out as he was the height of a just-average female, not a tall male like his father.
Personality: Once you get past the fact that he doesn’t know what you look like, gets led around camp by a fox the colour of his eyes that never close and is much calmer than other demigods as he doesn’t have ADHD, Cecil is actually quite a nice guy. Sure, he’s hard to get to know, but when you know him he’s everything you should want in a friend – honest, loyal and generally quite welcoming. He’ll make you feel at home right fast at camp, even if you’re struggling to get your head around the idea that your missing parent is actually a Greek god. Though he sounds pretty cool, he has his individual flaws like each and every one of us. He is secretive, preferring to keep some things to himself, and even when he knows you he prefers to stay quiet and contemplate his flaws. While not as much as the demigods who betrayed camp in the Second Titan War, he’s bitter to his mother, but at least he has a reason (kind of). I’m just saying, there’s more to him than what meets the eye, and as there’s a lot that meets the eye this is a pretty big statement.
History: Even Hestia isn't sure why she left Olympus one night in the guise of a girl in her early twenties, but she did and after a night of wandering around Manhattan alone, she couldn't quite get back to the Empire State Building. While mindlessly walking around trying to find the right place she ran into a charming, hard-working journalist named Carlos who offered to show her back, telling her about the article he was writing about a suspicious warehouse in Brooklyn.
Hestia met up with Carlos every now and then, and each time felt more strong feelings towards him. In the end she realized that it was affecting her job as keeper of the hearth. She went into Manhattan one last time and, by coincidence, ran into Carlos. When he tried to greet her she shook him off. Carlos never saw Hestia again. What he did see was her son.
When Hestia returned to the hearth, she found a baby boy sitting, crying in the fire. She instantly snatched him out of it (though being a son of Hestia, he was not harmed) and checked his eyes. She almost fainted when she saw the colour, because every few centuries a child is born from the flames with red eyes, and he's fated to do something foolish that could destroy the world. Hestia hoped her boy wasn't the one.
The next day she sent the baby to Carlos, with a note explaining the gods and half-bloods. Carlos showed distaste with him as he was 'very busy'. The day after that Hestia took the baby to Camp immediately, giving Carlos another note explaining where the boy had gone. He still didn't even have a name. Hestia named him Cecil Aidan Montgomery.
If having babies at camp was problematic, having blind ones was even worse. Still, Cecil managed to be taught things like walking, using weapons, and reading, which was no problem as he used braille and not actual words. Even then nobody knew who his mother was. When Cecil was six Hestia returned him to his father, who enrolled him in mortal school until he was nearing his thirteenth birthday. Hestia had to take him to camp and claim him. He has been at camp ever since.
