How She Arrived ⬦ Tru was lead to camp by chance, after going up from Cuba to move in with distant relatives near New York, monsters began to follow her-small ones, nothing big. But she got sick and tired of it, and deducted that she was crazy-she wasn't, a few weeks later and a satyr retrieved her.

Tru lowkey hates her weapon, since it's not a spear or axe-and high maintenance. Plus, it's annoying

The sword of a fallen demigod, an Apollo child it turns out, and the sword gives her advice during battle-but only Ares kids can hear the sword. It has the advice/wisdom of a demigod on the losing side of an old war, and while it can be helpful, Sol (the sword) can be rather annoying/bossy as well

A couple inches over average height, for a girl, Tru isn't overly muscular-though she's very lean, Val is a lot sturdier than you may believe. Has a type of pixie and dark ebony brown hair, Tru's eyes are a deep blackish grey-which is strange, no one quite understands why they're that color. Perhaps due to her mix of Ares and Athena blood.

Her mother had died, and Gertrudes had been sent to live with distant relatives in New York. But, when she went there, she found that monsters followed her everywhere-which helped to sharpen her senses, make her wary, alert. After a few weeks, a satyr finally came to retrieve her-her relatives don't know where she is.
