October Group Read Theme Nomination

I'm going to suggest Memorable Sidekicks. There are so many books out there, where the main character is enjoyable; but the extremely memorable sidekick will really make the story successful for me!

Thanks Danielle...I can think of soooo many that I like :)

You made me think of Dr. John Watson almost immediately!

Since October is scary month (at least for some of us), I added Action Horror as my nomination pick.

Me, too. It would also fit the sidekick theme.
Is there a particular distinction between action horror, creature feature, and spooky books? I think if they more or less fit in with action horror, why not just use that as a broad theme (that includes your suggestions), instead of splitting votes?
The theme should be related to the overall group purpose: action and adventure in some shape or form.
The poll will go up on August 24th.
**We're not looking for actual book choices right now, just a general theme.***
Theme Suggestions:
*Memorable Sidekicks
*Talking Animals
*Best Prequel Books (book that was written after the start of a series but chronologically takes place before the start of the series)
*Action Horror
*Urban Fantasy Action
