He nearly flinched at the scream, but realized that it was probably the Hermes cabin pushing people into the lake, . Derrek swam up to the shore, water trickling down his body and he looked around for his towel but realized he never brought one and brought his hand up to his face for a face palm. "Idiot." He mumbled to himself as he figured out what to do, because there was no way in Hades he would sit on the ground, soaking wet. He would be washing sand out of uncomfortable places for weeks if he did.

Also, i will be going Hiatus sometime this month, but I will let you know when that is a few days prior, but this Hiatus will end sometime in Sept.
Would you want to continue the RP back in sept, or no? You may be thinking, "how will I remember this?" Well I was thinking that we could DM each other, before I go into HIatus, on the last messages we RPed, and then come Sept, we figure out details later.

It's fine! I have a big vacation planned soon as well, so it's fine. Also, I can't DM but I do have a good memory so it'll be fine lol. I'll just refrain from putting Katelyn in another relationship until then.

Personality: My favorite activity is tending the strawberries. My least favorite is Pegasus training. They just don’t like me! I’m alright at fighting, running, swimming, but bad at singing and flying the pegasi. I would say I’m funny, and smart. I also enjoy reading and strumming the guitar.
Backstory: I was born in Washington state, USA, though I don’t have any Regional influences. I’m active, but not athletic. I have anxiety, but that doesn't stop me. I have a mom and stepdad who loves me, and a little step brother named Hector. I met my dad once, by accident. Or was it an accident? I’ll never know.
How I Met Ares: I was in 5th grade when it happened, towards the end of the year. My bully, Sarah Andrews, was picking on my weight and appearance, and how I was terrible at spelling. I felt this thing inside my gut and anger boiled my blood. I screamed at her to shut up, when she brought up how I didn’t know my bio dad, and I lost it. I punched her in the nose, and heard a satisfying crunch from her face, and the wails of her scream and cries. This is how I got kicked out of school. But anyways, I knew I could punch, just not that much. I heard a voice behind me. “Great j0b. I personally would have done more, but not bad, kid.” I turned around, tears stinging my cheek. I saw Ares, and I felt this connection. “Who are you?” I asked and he smiled, and laughed. It was how I laughed; deep, and maniac like, with occasional snort. I smiled, though I have no idea why. We had a whole conversation, and eventually he said, “I came to check on my other kid who is in AMS, when I sensed you.” He said, looking right at me. “Your other kid?” “Yeah. Your one, I went to go see the other one.” I smiled. I couldn’t help it. I just met my dad. I wasn’t even angry. I just finally met him. He left in red flames that died down a second after, and I went home and told my mother everything. After that, monsters attack. Found out the other kid from AMS died of a car accident soon later.
Scar Backstory: I have this long scar on my leg from mid thigh to ankle from fighting a Hellhound on my way to CHB. What happened was I was in New York visiting family, and I was riding my bike around Queens when I heard this bark. I went towards it and it was literally a nightmare. I ran fast to get away, and I ended up on Long Island, but the thing was still chasing me. I reached a hill (CBH Hill) and I saw a bunch of people. I started screaming and yelling for help, when an archer (if ya wanna be that archer, let me know) shot over my head, piercing the hellhound. It fell, nearly grabbing my ripped hoodie. I stumbled up the hill, gasping for breath.
