Oh yeah, I’ve heard the virus is pretty bad over there. NYC is so cool though. But that makes sense, considering you live all the way across the world from me.

Yep, I am a violinist. There is a lot more technique than you would think. You need more than talent to make it as a violinist. You need to be able to work hard and, of course, you need the right connections. Also, if you decide to become to a violinist, you also have to accept that you probably won't be some great name or the concert soloist accompanied by the best orchestra performing at Carnegie Hall. It's tough and, as a violinist, there is a lot of competition. Ultimately, you have to pursue music because you love it- because you can't see yourself doing anything else other than that.

Not sure I can quite agree with that. NYC is home though. Good or bad, I can't imagine living anywhere else. Where do you live?

Well, NYC just seems to have so many different unique scenes that happen all in one city, and I really like that about it. I don’t think I would be able to live in such a busy city, I assume, but like I would really love to visit and experience it. I live in Melbourne, Australia btw.

Hm, I believe the mod Beth- or Ember- lives there. I remember I used to have to wake up very early in the morning for us both to be online at the same time, because she would roleplay right before she went to bed. Well, it depends on where in NYC. Everyone always thinks of Manhattan when they think of NYC, but there are parts of NYC that aren't as lively. I actually live in Brooklyn.
Yeah, maybe I’m really only thinking of Broadway and Times Square and such. I guess, I wouldn’t know what it’s like over there because Ive never been there myself. But Brooklyn still seems though.
And yes, I also have a really vague memory of one of the mods– Beth?– living here as well.

Yeah, actually, here in NYC, we refer to Manhattan as "the city," because of how stereotypically city-like it is. Lol Not every part of Manhattan is like Broadway and Time Square either. Most of that area is flashy and crowded, because it is mainly tourists that go there. They are trying to turn Brooklyn into Manhattan by building skyscrapers- something I am not thrilled about. You can't see much of the sky from the sidewalks when there are tall buildings everywhere.
Lol Yeah, I made you a mod after I pmed you what Ilsa said. Lol Stan Loona? What is that a reference to?

Thank you for that! I’m kinda nervous because I literally have no idea what I should do as a mod. So if there’s anything that you want me to help out with, please feel free to let me know! I’ll try to help out as much as I can!
And yeah, Manhattan does seem to be VERY stereotypically city-esque! Yeah, I wouldn’t really like that either. Thankfully, Melbourne is fairly large so there are plenty of areas where there are less stereotypical city-esque atmosphere, skyscrapers, people etc.
Oh hahah LOONA is a very unique and talented Kpop girl group. And the term ‘Stan Loona’ is quite an outdated term that started over at Twitter, I think, in which fans use repetitively to get people to ‘stan Loona’!

Well, I was thinking of archiving a lot of old threads- that either don't belong in certain folders or that are old roleplay places people created outside of the books. I was also going to start setting up the Character List this weekend. I suppose you could help with the first part.
What is Melbourne like?
Hm, I suppose if I am studying music, maybe I should have known that. I haven't listened to Kpop in a long time. I do remember I wasn't too keen on it though. I don't know. Maybe I will learn to enjoy some that genre eventually. I have been finding that at some point I develop an interest in music that I had previously not liked.

Okay, I'll certainly be able to archive old and unused threads once I figured out how to do that.
Also, Melbourne is cool, it's quite a calm and chill city. Although there's a middle metropolitan area in which we also call 'the City' as well, otherwise there are a lot more areas where it's super suburban. I don't go out to different places that often, hahaha, so I don't really know a super whole lot of things about Melbourne.
Yeah, Kpop definitely evolved a whole lot, as much as I still love the older generation of Kpop. But there's so many different variety of genre and concept within the Kpop genre as a whole as well. You should check some of them out if you would like to. Besides, Loona is a very unique girl group with a very interesting pre-debut project in which they released a whole bunch of different type of music that fit with each individual member.

lol I actually cleaned up the threads already today. Right now, I am working on the character list. What are your characters and their cabins?
lol Melbourne sounds a little like New York City.

Oh, wow, you're very proficient! Hahaha, oh no, now I feel bad for not having done anything>
Also, I sent you a PM regarding the Character List.
Yeah, they're just a bunch of first world country cities. Hahaha

Yeah, I saw. So you have Cyril and Orfeus and one is a child of Iris and the other Hecate?
I also think it's your turn on the arena thread.

Yep, Cyril is a descendant (great-great-something-grandson) of Hecate and Orfeus is a son of Iris.
I also posted at the Big House Porch.

I guess so. There are some grandchildren of the Olympians too in one of the old character lists.

Hahaha yeah. Omg, I really complicate things. I just thought I didn't want to create a basic character and plus, I was watching a few witch tv shows so I got the idea to make him a descendant of an accused witch during the European Witch Trials who was also the daughter of Hecate. It sounds more interesting this way.
lol Well, he definitely isn't a basic character. He sounds like he has an interesting background. When I am done with this list, I want to read Cyril's backstory.

Oh no, hahaha. It's just in mind, I have such a clear and interesting background for him but maybe his profile isn't as good as I hope. Hahaha

lol You can still add it. I recently created a backstory for my unfinished daughter of Melinoe and I am happy with it. I wrote it a little like a ghost story.

Yeah, I know. I took a look at your profile after I friended you. I like knowing what type of person I am roleplaying with.
Hi guys! It’s been a while. After a talk with your new mod I have decided to come back to roleplaying. For the people that don’t know me, my name is Benjamin. I have been in this group foooooorrr 5 years I think? I have a ton of characters (though I can only remember like 5). I will be more than willing to roleplay with anyone. Since I’m on my phone and it’s late, I will post what I remember from my characters. So here we go. I have:Ethan, Son of hades
Anuki, son of Apollo
Brian, Son of Ares
Greg, son of Heracles
That’s all I can remember at the moment. If you’d like to know more about them before rp’ing than let me know and I’ll be more than happy with giving you more detail (that I can remember).

I'm fine with whichever characters you choose.

@ilsa addy sounds great! Any one specifically you’d like to rp with? @crunchy I’ll pick a location once I figure out who I’m using for my rp with ilsa.

Okay. Do you want to start in pm? I have an idea that might be interesting. If not, we can start in the peach orchard.
