cool thanks....well..it's a psychological thriller..but Virginia Wolff and Sylvia Plath poetry are used throughout..and A Room of One's Own is referred to repeatedly.

it's a new release July or August(just found it "by accident") lol
Sorry Ruth I only just saw your question (these notifications don't always work!!)
Yes, I think March is fine, as would be something like Longbourne. As these are "side works" of the original books, and therefore is a book about a book :)

I tried to listen to the audiobook and baled in the second chapter. I found it incredibly boring. I guess I'll get back to it at some point. What did you think of Lost in a Good Book?

I really like the books but yeah, they're unusual.
Welcome Renee!
Midu - I loved The Eyre Affair, I found Lost in a Good Book pretty good, but book 3 (The Well of Lost Plots ) I just couldn't get into. I don't know why. Maybe it was just my mood at the time. But I still really enjoy Jasper Fforde

It was Good. Not GREAT but not awful, just good. It was lacking something with me, I think I never really fully connected with the characters or something but it wasn't awful.
I wish I had listened to the first one too. The audio of the 2nd is almost perfect. It's read by Brendan who I love, BUT he reads it soooooooooooo and I mean soooooooooooooooo freakin slow, it's like a dreamlike quality to his voice. I actually got an app to speed him up and at 1.50 (versus 1.00) he's actually at a normal, or a little fast sometimes, speed. Other than that, listening to it has been good, as it does take a long time to get through and since I didn't love it, it can be my nighttime ear music while I still spend my days reading great new reads. :)
Thanks - good to know. It might be an audio for me too then. I didn't actually realise there was an app for that (I guess I should've - there's an app for everything! lol) because I find the 2x speed on the iphone is just tooooo fast. I'll have to check it out ;)

The Fault in Our Stars would be the stand out in the ones I read. It had me emotionally involved, and I might have even cried...

What I got was from Google Play and is called Audipo. You can step up the speed of it a point at a time so you can choose where you want it to be. Really works well.
I finished it today Barb - I really enjoyed it!
That means I have finished my voyage!
I still have a few books about books on my list so I may just continue on :)
