"What shape is your favorite cashew?"
"Half-moon, yours?"
"Mine is half-moon, too!"
"Do you like salted?"
"No, dry roasted."
"Oh. I like salted."
"Oh."
...

Stupid people Suck!

I've never read a zombie book before, so I am looking forward to being entertained. I Hope!
I've read different places that The Women in White is the first real mystery novel and started the genre. I'm sure it will be good whether or not that's true.

I love that you said "classical victorian cherry". I just choked on air while laughing at that. :)
But I have to say you shouldn't let that stupid book get in the way of you reading other classical literature. It's not all bad or that hokey! I love me some classics, and I hated Wuthering Heights.

On Easton Press's web site you can get a list of the 100 greatest books (classics) and the 50 greatest books of the 20th century. If you can't find them I'll email them to you.
You just need to find ones that interest you and it definitely helps to talk to others for their opinions of the book!
El, please dont misunderstand... I LOVE classic lit... just not victorian lit... I wont read Jane Austin, Bronte, ect.....because of that book.
I did, however end up at borders with my 40% coupon and found that P&P&Z was buy one get one 50%... so I picked it up!!!
and Meghan is gone. I booted her out. I hate that crap!

I have just finished The Woman in White, which I read through www.dailylit.com They send you daily instalments via email, or twitter links, or whatever, and it's free.
Interesting to read it in serial fashion, as the book was originally written as a serial.

Wow Hayes,
Thanks for the link! Does it remain available in your mailbox....?? I mean, does the link to the book disappear or can I always go back to it and reread it?
Thats pretty cool :)

I am sorry for being annoying. Our goal in the group is 2 advertise it. I will leave ur group right now. Please forgive me.

I don't think that I will read the P&P&Z book.

That seems kind of pointless. Shouldn't your goal be to meet like-minded people that you can have awesome conversations with? Why would you create a group for the single purpose of spamming others?

I haven't read Pride and Prejudice either. I thought I was the only person on Earth. Now I know there are 2 of us."
THREE of us! :)"
Four. LOL. Guess I'll be reading that one first, and then P&P&Z

I won't have time to read them both, so I am going for The Woman in White.

Use the coupon code Jack to get 1.00 off.

I think the book sellers have gotten wind of our demand for the book and are competing.

I know it's been one of the selections in their most recent "Buy one, get the second at half off" (or whatever they're calling it) promotion, so maybe that's why...?
ETA: Oh...also, if it's not on the "Buy One, Get The Second Half Off" table, look in the Humor Section of the store; I'm not kidding. When you look up the book on the Borders search terminals, it tells you that the book is shelved in humor. And that is the case at the Borders I frequent.

I shall keep looking, however.

As I've said...it's Pride and Prejudice with zombies. Having read the book, I wouldn't have put it in the teen section.

I feel the same way. I don't really have much of a desire to read P&P&Z, but I'm interested in hearing what P&P fans think of it.

P&P is not a book I planon reading twice.
I'll let you know my thoughts since I'm reading both June picks.

#107 of 107 holds! Bwahaha...there is no way I'll get my hands on this book in June. This looks like a months long wait.

Yes, me too; frankly it doesn't happen often enough in my case. I got this copy from the library, which I'm using more now. I love the library, and hadn't used it since I was a kid!
