September 2013 Host - Veronica - Casa de Pico - 9/29/13 6pm

Does anyone want to host September's book club? It can be at your home (prerferred) or at a public location of your choice that you organize.
Also, I am hoping to have the date squared away the first week of September to allow people to plan ahead. Please comment on here with the date you prefer (whether you want to host or not) from the following options that appear to work with those who told me their availability:
Monday, 9/23 6:30p
Saturday, 9/28 10:00a
**Sunday, 9/29 6:00p**
Monday, 9/30 6:30p

Any of the dates work for me!!!
Meeting date will be decided and posted in the Events on September 4th. Make sure your preference is listed here so we can work around your schedule if you plan to attend.
September 2013 Meeting will be on Sunday, 9/29 at 6pm
We still need to figure out who is the host. Any volunteers? It could be at your home or a public place. If no volunteers then I will organize it and post the details on 9/15 (will be a public place, as my house is still under renovation :/).
SIDE NOTE: We currently have a tie vote between A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and The Cuckoo's Calling for October's monthly selection. If we still have a tie on 9/15, then the September Host gets to pick which one we read!!

My house is still in chaos at the moment. I should be able to host for the October meeting.
Suggestion for the September meeting: Casa de Pico in La Mesa? It's loud inside, but its really nice outside (unless the mariachis are playing, lol).

Veronica ... Do you want to organize Casa de Pico (reservation, if needed)? Never been there but it looks awesome online! I'll update the location for the event meeting listing. And you'll be the "host" :)
Made a reservation for four. I also asked to sit outside since the restaurant can get really loud.
Sweet! Can't wait :)
Kimberly might come and so might my sister in law. I'll see them both tonight and if they are planning on coming I'll call and change the reservation to 6. Is it under your name?
