I try to just read one at a time these days, in the past I would try to read multiple books at once but would end up liking one more and putting the other one aside for a long time and it just ends up sitting on my shelf for months.
I'm usually reading 3-4 books at a time. I like to read physical books, read Kindle books, and listen to audio-books, so I often have at least one book going in each medium ;)

I wish I could read more than one book at a time but I just wouldn't be able to keep the stories straight.
I prefer to only read one book at a time. That way I can really focus on the story line and characters.
It depends on how much the book I'm reading captures my interest. If its boring, or I'm tired of it, I'll jump onto another one. Right now I'm in the middle of like 7
usually one for pleasure and one for school
I really only like reading one book at a time (get more wrapped up in it that way), but I've read up to 3 at a time before. One I have really been waiting for, a review book, and proofreading my own book.
I'll admit to having a really bad attention span...
...so I usually only only read one book at a time.
hahaha I love that!!! I know exactly what you mean. If I read too many at once I can get the worlds and characters confused, so I like to stick to one, but sometimes I have to read another one for school at the same time.
I once tried reading three books simultaneously because I couldn't choose what to read first but I regretted it after. :D So I just stick to reading two books at the same time :)
Me, I read way too many books at the same time than I should. But see, I have a short attention span, so I'm not gonna want to sit down and read a book that's incredibly boring and dull. (I'm the type of person to give up a book two chapters in) So I usually jump from book to book to book. Or maybe if I'm not in the mood for what I'm reading, I'll jump on another book. Sometimes its months before I finish one book :D
Right now I'm reading:
Clockwork Angel
The Hunt
Harry Potter
Darkness Before Dawn
The Angel Experiment
Daughter of Smoke and Bone
Falling Under
Darkness Becomes Her
Starcrossed
Sweet Venom
Blackout
And The Long Way Home.

Ooops, I already posted on this topic :/ Mah bad
I only read one book at a time, but I typically read a book every like day and half. If I were to read more than one book at a time I think I would spaz out. Since I go through so many books, I already have trouble keeping the characters straight as it is haha.
Typically, I'll read 2 books at the same time; one at school the other at home (which takes me longer to read/finish than the one I read at school).
2-3. I usually read one book in bed and one in the day time.
I used to be able to read at least two depending on my mood, but anymore I can barely keep up with one. So definitely one.
Generally I read one book at a time, but sometimes I'll read two or three. For example - I'll read a scary book during the day, and a fluffy one at night :P
I usually read one book at the time. I'm trying to read two at the moment and it isn't working for me.
If we're talking novels, I'll never read two novels for the first time at the same time. I'll reread a book along a new read on occasion, but never two new ones.If we get into comics/scripts along with novels, then I'm typically keeping up with 10+ stories at a time.
at the moment, like ten, maybe more...I get halfway through a book then find something better, so read everything at once.
I only read one book at a time.... although I sometimes feel like reading 2 but sticking with one and just concentrating on one is the best
I can read up to three at a time but very slowly. Eventually get more involved with one book and put the rest down for a bit until I've finished that book
