10.9. Put on Your Hat – It’s Getting Cold Outside!

October 6 is Mad Hatter Day. Read a book with some form of hat or head covering on the cover. It must be a head covering – for instance, a hair bow or other ornament would not work for the task. Examples: Bad Monkey by Carl Hiaasen Sherlock Holmes Was Wrong Reopening the Case of the Hound of the Baskervilles by Pierre Bayard The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles
REQUIRED: Include the cover in your post.

message 16: by Kate (new)

Kate (kathrynlouwca) | 1002 comments Does Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2) by Stephanie Perkins work? She is wearing a purple wig on the cover and a wig is a head cover.

I'm going to have to say no to wigs. That will create too many ambiguities that can't necessarily be resolved by just looking at the cover.

Sorry, Delmy, glad you posted again. I attempted to answer, but was having a lot of trouble with GR. Yes, this is fine.

She has a birdcage veil on, but sometimes those are attached to hats and sometimes just little hair ornaments. It's hard to tell in the photo so you can make the call. thanks!

Amanda (amandapearl) | 267 comments OMG ok I think I found it! The Vaginal Fantasy book club just announced their September pick. Behold.

Warrior (The Blades of the Rose, #1) by Zoe Archer

this would also work for task 5.9 because I'm pretty sure that's a cowboy hat (maybe an Indiana Jones hat, or Django Unchained hat)
