Of course she was only catching part of the conversation. Wwell this wasn't very heloful.....
"She wont become part of that life." Jack growls
Victoria frowned. Were they talking about hernow? What she wouldn't gove to hear the other half.....
Jack sighs loudly. "I dont know! Maybe because I been hiding for years and this wasn't supposed to happne!"
hat wasn;t supposed to happen? she wondered. Her powers?
Jack said some more words but they were too low. He hangs up with a sigh
She quickly moved back to where she'd been in the living room, not wanting him to know she;d been listening.
Jack walks back in. "You hungry I could order some pizza?" He ask
"Pizza sounds awesome, Cheese please. And I got it this time." She said, not about to let him pay for it.
He toss her the phones. "That means you have to call." He said with a grin
"Fine with me. What do you want on your half?"
"Disgusting ona pizza but alright." She said as she dialed.
She rolled her eyes and ordered. "Should be here in about 20 minutes."
Jack sat down beside her. "Not that long."
((yup.))Soon a knock was heard on the door. "I'll get it." Victoria said, quickly going to get their food.
Soon she came back with the pizza box. "Alright! Here we go!"
((I meant Jack! Oppp))"That smells like heaven!" He cries stealing the box
((honestly with all our rps I didn't notice it...))"Hey! Just leave my cheese pizza alone and I'm fine."
((Oh))He gave her a wick smile before getting himself a slice
((I feel bad now.....))She rolled her eyes, grabbing a piece of her own.
((It doesn't matter don't worry :D ))Jack ate his pizza in silence
Victoria also ate in silence, lost on thought. She was debating whether to tell him she overheard hom talking......
Jack was thinking about how he wished tomorrow didnt have to happen
"Hey Jack?" Sje asked after a minute, looking at the floor. "Can I ask you something?"
"Um Jack? I'm really sorry but I kinda followed you a bit earlier.....what was with that phine call?"
"Oh that......" He said sounding far off for a few seconds
She bit her lip. "I'm sorry for eavesdropping on you....but after hearing part of it I'm more confused than ever...."
"It doesnt matter. All your questions will be answered tomorrow..." He said
"Jack please....." She said, looking up at him now. "What's going on?"
"A lot of stuff that hard to understand."
"Jack.....please. ....I need to know...."
Jack looks away biting his lip not answering
She sighed unit sure what ti say or do anymore.
"Hey let me go see if I can get you some answers tonight." He said standing up moving towards the door
"What's wrong Jack?" She asked, shoulders slumping.
"Nothing, come on." he said grabbing another piece of pizza
"Coming." She muttered, knowing something was up but not pushing it more. Not now at least. As she followed him out.
"No!"
